About / Biography

The Aurora Entertainment Experience: Ground to Sky

Transform your event with a curated portfolio of world-class physical artistry. Blending elite acrobatics, extreme flexibility, and captivating choreography, our acts can be tailored to fit the exact scale, vibe, and technical capabilities of your venue. From surreal atmospheric entertainment during cocktail hour to jaw-dropping mainstage features, we provide a seamless, unforgettable visual experience.

Here is our complete menu of performance offerings, available individually or packaged together for a full evening of entertainment:

Elevated Elegance: Aerial Silks Our signature silks performance is a mesmerizing fusion of raw athletic power and airborne contortion. Unlike standard aerial routines, this act takes extreme flexibility high above the stage, interwoven with fluid climbs and heart-stopping, dynamic drops. Driven by deep musicality and a magnetic connection with the audience, it is a high-impact visual spectacle designed to command the room and leave guests captivated.

Dynamic Framing: Aerial Hoop (Lyra) Combining striking poses with fluid, spinning momentum, the aerial hoop is a stunning display of strength and grace. The steel ring acts as a perfect frame for mind-bending contortion and elegant balances, creating a constantly moving, 360-degree piece of living art. It is the perfect balance of edgy athleticism and refined elegance, ideal for both high-energy features and ambient background installations.

Fluid Form: Dance-Infused Ground Contortion Experience the awe-inspiring limits of human flexibility fused with the emotive grace of contemporary dance. This ground-based act moves beyond static poses into a continuous, deeply musical choreography where every bend and transition breathes with the soundtrack. Because it requires no overhead rigging and minimal space, it is the ultimate versatile entertainment solution—capable of being performed on a main stage, a small podium, or intimately among mingling guests.

The Complete Package Looking for a multi-layered entertainment experience? We frequently partner with event planners to build dynamic packages. Imagine welcoming your guests with surreal, ambient ground contortion, elevating the energy during dinner with an elegant aerial hoop installation, and capping off the night with a show-stopping aerial silks feature.

Whatever your vision, we bring the artistry, the technical expertise, and the breathtaking impact to make it a reality.

What information do you require about a venue?

To ensure a safe and successful performance, I require the following venue details:

Aerial Acts (Silks and Hoop):
Rigging: Are there certified structural points (e.g., steel beams) that can safely support a 1000 kg dynamic load?
Ceiling Height: What is the exact height from the floor to the rigging point?
Access: How will we reach the ceiling to install the equipment (e.g., aerial lift, tall ladder, winch)?
Portable Rig: If the ceiling cannot be rigged, is there a flat, level floor space of [insert rig footprint] with a ceiling clearance of [insert rig height] for my freestanding rig?

Contortion and General Logistics:
Space and Surface: Is there a clear, completely flat area of at least 2x2 meters? What material is the floor?
Environment: Is the event indoors or outdoors? If outdoors, is the ground perfectly level

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

No. The venue must provide sound and lighting equipment, as per the clients' requests.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of the most unforgettable gigs I have ever done was Alex and Josie's wedding, set deep in the breathtaking forests of the Pacific Northwest. The venue was entirely outdoors, surrounded by towering trees and lush, natural greenery.

Instead of a traditional indoor venue, I performed on a freestanding aerial rig placed right in the middle of the forest. Their production team handled all the rigging and setup seamlessly, which made the entire process incredibly smooth and allowed me to focus entirely on the artistry.

Performing suspended under the open sky, with the forest as a stunning natural backdrop, created a completely magical and intimate atmosphere. The earthy, organic setting perfectly complemented the fluid, contemporary dance elements of my contortion and silks routines. Seeing the guests' absolute awe as they watched a high-level circus performance nestled in such a surreal, quiet environment was unforgettable. It is a perfect example of how a freestanding rig can bring s

What's your favourite type of event?

While I truly enjoy performing at all types of events, from classic corporate galas to intimate private parties, my absolute favorites are immersive and heavily themed events.

Themed events allow us to push the boundaries of creativity and fully integrate our physical artistry into the world you are building. Because aerial arts and contortion are so highly visual, they serve as the perfect medium for atmospheric storytelling and setting a specific mood.

We love the collaborative process of adapting our acts to fit your exact vision. Whether that means curating a bespoke musical soundtrack, designing custom costumes and makeup, or adjusting our choreography to match the energy of the room, we thrive on those creative details. From a dark, avant-garde nightclub atmosphere to an elegant, 1920s cabaret or a surreal, futuristic corporate launch, tailoring our performances to elevate your unique theme is where we shine the most.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I've performed worldwide in various events, theatrical shows, cabarets, and other forms of circus productions. I have experience performing in many settings and adapting to any theme.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We typically arrive 2 to 4 hours before the event starts. This gives us ample time to safely install and weight-test our aerial rigging, prepare costumes, and complete the extensive physical warm-up required for contortion and aerial acrobatics.

For venues with complex rigging needs, or if we are using our freestanding aerial rig, we may require a site visit or rigging installation the day before. This ensures all safety inspections are handled without rushing and keeps your event day stress-free.

For performance times, we tailor our sets to your event's flow. Featured acts (mainstage performances where we have the audience's full attention) are highly dynamic and run for 5 to 7 minutes. Ambient performances (atmospheric entertainment happening while guests mingle or dine) are typically broken into 15 to 20-minute sets, with short physical rest breaks in between to ensure peak performance and safety.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, we absolutely love performing outdoors! Open-air settings can provide a breathtaking and memorable backdrop for both aerial arts and contortion.
However, because our acts involve extreme physical demands and working at heights, outdoor performances are strictly weather-dependent. For our safety, the ambient temperature must be at least 20 degrees Celsius to keep our muscles warm and prevent serious injury. We also require completely dry conditions, as aerial silks and contortion surfaces become dangerously slippery when wet. For aerial acts, wind speeds must also remain low.

Logistically, we require a perfectly flat, stable surface for our performance or our freestanding rig. We also need access to a private, climate-controlled dressing room nearby for our physical warm-up and costume changes, as well as access to drinking water.
Finally, we require that the venue has an indoor backup location or a fully covered, heated tent in case of unexpected weather changes, ensuring your

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Yes, clients absolutely have a say in the theme! We offer the best of both worlds to ensure the performance fits your event perfectly.

We have a diverse repertoire of fully choreographed, polished acts set to various musical styles—ranging from dramatic and cinematic to elegant, upbeat, or atmospheric. You are welcome to choose from these existing routines to easily match the vibe of your evening.

However, if you have a specific song in mind—whether it is a special track for a wedding, a highly themed event, or a brand launch—we are more than happy to perform to it. Because our acts are deeply tied to musicality and timing, we just ask that you provide your chosen track well in advance. This gives us the necessary time in the studio to safely and beautifully choreograph our aerial drops, contortion transitions, and fluid movements to fit your music flawlessly.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients most commonly describe our performances as breathtaking, elegant, and deeply engaging.

Because we blend extreme physical feats with the fluid grace of contemporary dance, event planners often tell us that our acts feel like living art. They use words like "beautiful" and "elegant" to highlight the seamless choreography, custom costumes, and musicality of our routines.

At the same time, the high-impact moments—such as dramatic aerial drops or extreme, impossible contortion shapes—are consistently described as "breathtaking" and thrilling to watch.

Most importantly, clients appreciate how entertaining and engaging we are. Whether we are performing a featured mainstage act or ambient background sets, we prioritize audience connection. We don't just perform in the background; we draw the audience into the performance, ensuring the experience is not just visually stunning, but also genuinely fun and unforgettable for the guests.
