I am Babé Sila, a Budapest born London and NYC based DJ/recording artist/singer.
In London I am a resident DJ at Nobu, The TwentyTwo, Sketch, Moyagi, Bar Antoine(FourSeasons), The Booking Office, The Amano Hotels(Berlin, London), Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay, etc.
Besides my residencies, what I'm doing most of are fashion collaborations and art events. In the past year I've played for clients like Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, Saatchi Gallery, Furla, Frama CPH, Aeron Studios, Nanushka, Apparis, Unicef, Maison Kitsuné, and have played sets at the Budapest, CPH, Milan and NYC fashion weeks. I played at the World Athletic Championships' VIP lounge, at Moga festival and Caparica Surf festival in Portugal, W hotel opening and at Budapest and Copenhagen design week.
As a DJ, I am most at home at soulful/groovy music: Soul, Funk, R&B (oldies&contemporary), Disco. I also have a huge repertoire of house music: Afro-house, Latin/Tropical-house, Funky-house, Glitterbox, Deephouse, Reggaeton, Dembow, Dancehall, Hip-hop, Afro-beats, Pop/floor fillers & World groove(Habibi funk, Brazilian funk, Cosmic dance, Italo-disco, etc.) so I am comfortable curating a mix of tunes covering a range of feels and genres, whether I’m setting the atmosphere as a background element or driving the energy as the main curator of the party. I have curated playlists for restaurants, hotels and fashion shows from jazz through ambient to pop.
As a singer, I sing my original songs(soul) and covers if requested, accompanied by a guitarist/pianist/harpist/full band. I have musicians both in London and NYC that I work with.
I also do hybrid sets where I DJ and sing live.

I love fashion events, I love weddings and birthdays, where people are there to celebrate (dance guaranteed). I also love to curate the atmosphere from the background.
I have been a live singer since I was 18 and took on DJ-ing 6 years ago. Playing music for people has always been a full time job for me - as well as my greatest passion.
