The Bedzin Project ft. Micki Sweet is a powerhouse R&B band lighting up the Dallas–Fort Worth scene with a high-energy fusion of soul, funk, and groove. Fronted by the sultry, dynamic vocals of Micki Sweet, who’s performed at major festivals and opened for Parliament Funkadelic, the band delivers unforgettable live shows.
At the core is Matt Bedzin, a New Orleans-born keyboardist whose credits include legends like The Temptations and Freddie Jackson. He brings deep musicality and bold stage presence to every performance.

We provide sound if no sound is available
As well as lights.
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
