We were lucky enough to hire the Party Band with Singer to perform at our wedding, and they were brilliant. From the initial enquiry, to the booking, to the actual day, it was all easy and stress free. All our guests were so complimentary and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and the band fully vindicated our decision to not have a DJ. Gabriel was very considerate to ask if there were any songs from the set list we definitely wanted to be played, or avoided, and also kind enough to play our own playlist through their speakers between sets. I wouldn't hesitate to hire the band in the future for any other special occasion/event, and would recommend them to everyone

We were so excited to have Big Smoke at our wedding having had to postpone and it was definitely worth the wait. They were fantastic keeping our guests entertained during our drinks reception. This continued in the evening - many guests said they’d never seen so many people on the dance floor at one time! They guys are great and everyone loved them. The communication leading up to the day was great and they were happy to play the songs we really wanted as well as leaving off those we didn’t really like too much. We would highly recommend Big Smoke Brass!

We had the Big Smoke Brass come and play at our wedding in Cornwall and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They learnt our first dance song specifically for our wedding and it was amazing to have the band play such a special song to us. We had so many wedding guests come up to us and say how awesome they thought the band were and they definitely got the party started! I would book them again without hesitation! We booked Big Smoke Brass for our wedding reception entertainment, and oh my word did they live up to our expectations! They got our guests on the dance floor, and the vibe in the room was amazing, all because of them! We knew they would be brilliant, but when we requested 'Let It Go' as our first dance so that our daughter could enjoy it, we did wonder if they would say no. We should never have worried, they embraced every request of ours and made our evening absolutely brilliant. I cannot recommend them enough, we will definitely book them again for our next party. 5* isn't enough, a million would be closer to what they delivered for us. So, so happy with everything they did. We had Big Smoke Brass make a surprise entrance at our wedding just after our ceremony, and they nailed it perfectly, it was everything we imagined and more! All our guests loved it and have been raving about how great you were. We only wish we could have you back to do it all again!

Thank you Big Smoke Brass for making our wedding so special. We wanted to find a band who did something a bit different, and who could play to a wedding crowd without being too ‘cheesy’. I’m so glad they were able to make our wedding in Wales; they were incredible.

From the start, they were flexible about what songs we wanted them to play and were quick to respond - all while being amazing musicians who I’d love to see play all over again. They really judged the mood of the evening and both of their sets were brilliant. Everyone left the evening wanting to know who the band were, how we found them...or wanted to pick up a tuba and start learning. Thank you, thank you!

The Big Smoke Brass guys certainly know how to put on a show! Familiar and well-loved pop songs played in a way you definitely won’t have heard before. Thoroughly entertaining and never lacking in energy, enthusiasm and swagger. They clearly love playing their instruments and it shows. Dispense with the boring DJ or the covers band you’re thinking of and get them instead.

Big Smoke Brass played at one of our Freshers’ events in September, and they were absolutely wonderful. The music was phenomenal, but equally their professionalism and efficiency were spot on. They made managing a very stressful event, considerably more enjoyable. I’ve already booked them for our Oktoberfest, and will be looking for other opportunities to employ them again.
