I was fortunate enough to attend a concert by the Freshwater Jazz Players: it was a fun-filled experience filled with great music. Their repertoire, strictly acoustic, draws inspiration from greats of the past like Sidney Bechet and Django Reinhardt, including the tango of Astor Piazzolla, but also embraces original music and period Italian pieces, with that light-hearted, self-deprecating spirit that the group's name suggests. Unmissable!
