Had Jay appear at my kids' Birthday when they were young and he was fantastic. Some great magic tricks and amazing balloon animals. He even dropped into the school I worked in, and entertained some late teens I was teaching. I know he's gone on to become even more proficient, since those days. I would strongly recommend him and Blooming Circus for any school wanting to provide their kids with a very unique learning experience or for entertainment for ANY kind of event. Totally worth the wedding!
So here’s a weird thing to say in a review… my wife and I are no longer together. BUT—I can honestly say, aside from our wonderful children, one of the best things to come out of that marriage was having Jay from Blooming Circus perform at our wedding.
Jay was an absolute legend. I still remember looking out across the garden and seeing kids in total awe, adults grinning like kids because of the kids, and a balloon crown being worn like it was a royal coronation. The guy was everywhere—twisting balloons into wild creatures, entertaining with close-up magic, and somehow managing to charm every single guest (including the grumpy ones!)
He was friendly, funny, and completely effortless with people—exactly the kind of energy you want floating through your big day (or any event, really). The magic was top-notch, but it was the way he brought people together that stuck with me.
If you're planning a wedding, party, or need someone who can genuinely light up a room—go with Blooming Circus. Worth every penny. Honestly, I’d probably get married again just to book him.

Absolutely fantastic! Booked Jay for our wedding at East Lodge Rowsley initially then again for our children’s christening at Cross Scythe's Totley. Jay was a superstar and came to our rescue at literally the last minute when our original entertainer didn’t show! We had a party of 30 plus primary aged children and it was one of the best parties we’ve ever had!! Kids and adults loved it and were laughing and gobsmacked at the tricks throughout. It was funny, entertaining and exciting!! Highly recommend. The other parents kept asking who it was.

absolutely excellent entertainment, would recommend to anyone who wants something a bit different and fun for an event.ours was for kids but the adults present loved joining in too, Jay was great at getting everyone involved and creating an exciting atmosphere. the kids were really pleased to be able to show off their new skills to family and friends, i feel like it really benefitted their confidence as well as keeping them focused and entertained. Jay performed at our daughter’s 5th birthday party over the weekend and was nothing short of AMAZING.
We had a telephone call just before to chat about the party format which was really helpful to get prepared.
Jay arrived exactly when he said he would and got set up efficiently. He was absolutely incredible with the kids - we had around 36 there and a variety of ages. He used the time he had very well and all the kids were so engaged. There was a crazy amount much laughter from the kids and my daughter absolutely loved it!! I have had so many messages from parents telling me how amazing Jay was too and how their kids were talking about the funny things he did in his show right up to bedtime!

My husband and I had a joint 80th birthday celebration and charity evening recently and Jay entertained our 50 guests during the drinks reception with wonderful and quite amazing magic. The ages of our guests ranged from 13 - 91. His quiet manner, pleasant personality along with his highly professional approach set the tone for a fabulous evening. Absolutely blown away. With the family at a haven holiday resort and today was the highlight of the whole trip. All the kids were mesmerised by the charismatic magician teaching them all circus tricks and making them laugh. To top it off he started doing magic that has made me question reality. Jay handled an excited bunch of 12 year old boys really well. The tricks and magic were well pitched and received some 'oooohs' and 'aaaahhhhs'. Jay arrived early and set up and packed away quickly and was lovely and friendly. It was super easy to organise everything via Messenger and he was flexible and reliable. Definitely recommend him.
These guys were amazing! So entertaining and our kids all had a wonderful day. Blooming Circus were really accommodating, polite and amazing to watch. They got everyone involved and I would definitely recommend. I will book these guys again as the kids had such a wonderful time.
