Erano fantastici. Molto gradevole. Era una festa per 80. Tutte le età. La musica (principalmente soft jazz che l'ho chiesto) ha fatto ballare tutti. Il volume era eccellente, né troppo alto né troppo basso. Sono ottimi musicisti. Il loro sound era esattamente come sul sito web.

Wow. The best band we could’ve asked for. They were so flexible before our wedding, learning new songs and being flexible to our asks. Then on the day, the most beautiful piano solo work for our ceremony and amazing full band on the aperitif and during dinner. Honestly, couldn’t recommend these guys enough, they were perfect and so good!

The Blue Moon Jazz band played our wedding cocktail and dinner hours a couple of days ago in Tuscany. They were professional, relaxed, self sufficient and always friendly. Their music was perfect for setting just a wonderful mixture of atmospheric music and some to get the crowd dancing during dinner even! Loved by all ages, really made it so magical.

We are incredibly grateful the Blue Moon Italian Jazz Band was willing to travel to Loro Ciuffenna to play at our wedding. Raphael, the pianist, was our main contact, and he was always quick to respond, reassuring regarding planning the day of, and amazing to work with. The band was extremely accommodating, and especially adaptive to changes in the moment, and of course extremely talented musicians. They set the perfect mood for our day and were a highlight of our wedding. We also hired a DJ to play after our cake cutting for a few hours and he was also a hit! This is a group of geniunely kind, funny, and gifted musicians that we would happily recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic band for their wedding or special event.

It has just been a month since our wedding (19th August), we have pleasant memories and will continue to mention. Everyone was delighted with the level of music performance – with class and taste. Guests said they felt like they were at a concert, and the atmosphere was cinematic. Everything sounded great, Valentina’s voice should be appreciated, it is clear, warm and beautiful. Of course, let’s not forget the great playing of the pianist, double bass player and drummer. Really!

Despite the weather surprises during the reception, the band agreed to stay longer for which we are grateful. By the way, we had a full blue moon during the reception which came out by complete coincidence after we had already booked the band. Which made the atmosphere even more wonderful.

What else is worth to be mentioned? The contact with Raphael was flawless. I wish everyone would exchange messages so efficiently and concretely. If we had to choose this band again, we would choose the same way. As a professional classical musician, I can heartily recommend this band.

Raphael and the band played at the aperitivo of our wedding and created a magical atmosphere for all of our guests during sunset. We loved it!

Also all the communication with Raphael was very easy, professional and he is super responsive. He even offered to play at the ceremony as a pianist.

We booked Blue Moon Jazz Band for our wedding in Tuscany on the 28th August and they were a wonderful addition to it. Raphael was great to communicate with prior to the event and was happy to tailor their services to what we wanted.

On the day they were calm and relaxed and took care of everything from their side which was reassuring. The two pieces of music we asked them to learn, for the walk down the aisle and first dance were both beautifully performed. We booked them with their singer Nanà who was so good and her voice was perfect for the environment we were in.

Blue Moon Jazz Band helped to create a magical environment for our wedding ceremony and aperitivo.

I was very particular about the song and exact arrangement that I wanted to walk down the aisle to, and the pianist Raphael learned it and played it so beautifully. He also did a great job playing a very technically difficult song for our recessional.

The jazz standards the group played during aperitivo set the tone for the night – allowing us to connect over the music or dance and sway along if we chose to! The group plays with a lot of heart and emotion!

Just wow! Blue Moon Jazz Band played our wedding in Tuscany and they were simply perfect from start to finish. I communicated with Raphael throughout the wedding planning process and he was very helpful and sweet. We had the band play at our wedding in Sorrento for the Aperitif hour, and I can honestly say they were amazing! We had Nana singing and she was outstanding! Absolutely magical – perfect experience from start to finish!

I can’t recommend this band enough! Every single request they managed to fulfil – at our wedding we wanted to have a welcome party with a saxophone & DJ – the show was incredible, everyone loved it and the ambience was perfect. For the wedding day the band played during the aperitif where the vibe was absolutely perfect and then after dinner and the cake cutting they amped it up to more dancing tunes which was the best warm up to the DJ set they recommended, again with the saxophone. I loved it so much, the guests did, the communication was so easy, they were so responsive and met every requests, 100/100!

Truly a marvelous band. They were accommodating and set the perfect tone for our intimate wedding. Between the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, it was a lovely time with great music.

We each contacted Rahael and booked four musicians for our wedding in July. The contact, the contracting and then the performance in Italy (Lake Orta) went flawlessly. All guests as well as we enjoyed it incredibly. The band played for 4 hours with 15 minute interruptions. Everything with the breaks for the speeches and games worked excellently. Also, the band prepared the microphone and speakers for the ceremony and also played songs on the Iphone (our speaker wanted it that way). Could not recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band enough, they were absolutely fantastic from the moment I sent my initial enquiry email. Raphael was so responsive and helpful with whatever question I asked, and he also helped me out a great deal with some of the legal admin I needed to do, which was so so appreciated. He really went above and beyond.
As for the performance, well it was just incredible. They are all such talented players and had such a wide range of music they could play. It really made a difference as well to see the smiles on all their faces during their performance, they seemed to genuinely enjoy playing for us. We only had a wedding of 20 people, and this size of band really worked so well. Also really appreciated the band staying on an extra 1.5 hours despite them having long ways to travel afterwards. The best band in all of Italy!!

The Blue Moon Jazz Quartet was absolutely wonderful during our destination wedding in Amalfi. From the ceremony processional to the cocktail hour to the reception, we received countless comments from our guests on how great the band was! Raphael and the band made the booking process seamless from start to finish. We were blown away that they were willing to learn (and execute flawlessly) 3 songs for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. I cannot say enough good things about Blue Moon Jazz Trio/ quartet. Our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing and memorable without the music stylings of this amazing group. We planned our Venetian wedding from the US and Raphael was so easy and lovely to work with. Everything was handled from the set list to a playlist for dinner and breaks. Blue Moon Jazz Band performed at my wedding at Villa Miani in Rome for the ceremony and for cocktail hour. They were professional and did an incredible job. We were delighted with Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz Band who provided a wonderful soundtrack for our wedding reception at the Hotel Kolbe in Rome less than two weeks ago. The band played during the aperitivo and then again after dinner when they were joined by their fantastic singer. We loved their sound and wished they could have played longer. As one of my dearest friends said, whose brother is a jazz musician, when the band was playing it was more like being at a concert than “only” listening to background music. Raphael was always very prompt in all his replies and as kind and considerate as possible, while the musicians as a whole, including the singer, impressed us all with the quality of their sound. All our guests remarked on how wonderful the band was, including our younger guests who greatly enjoyed dancing away at jazz pieces they would not normally listen to, as well as the jazz buffs amongst us of which there were many. We had them play at our wedding all day on our wedding day and they blew us and our guests away, for both jazz and pop repertoires. In the run up they made everything so easy, really responsive and so easy to work with, Raphael learnt a song for us without question or hesitation and played some beautiful music at our ceremony, we really could not have asked for more from the band as a whole.

We made the excellent decision to include the singer who has an amazing voice and sang perfectly in English and Italian. The rest of the band were just as good, not a note out of place and played some amazing jazz standards, as well as a pop set that had everybody up and dancing straight away and kept them there for the rest of the night.

Thank you so much to all of Blue Moon Jazz Band, I’ve said it a thousand times already and it’s still not enough. They made the whole day so special for all of us and anybody who’s thinking about booking them should just get them booked immediately ❤️

My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Band came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band for your wedding or event, I can’t say enough great things about them!!

Raphael and the two Paolos were fabulous at my destination birthday party in Venice. They played anything and everything our 30 guests wanted to dance to from dixieland jazz to Abba to the most current dance crazes. Their music absolutely made the party!! They even played through some breaks to keep the party going. They’re very nice guys and it was a pleasure dealing with them – and their rates were quite reasonable.

My wedding day is full of bright memories but there is a memory which is one of the brightest: me and my husband were entering the villa where our guests were entertaining themselves over the Welcome drinks and even before I saw the whole scene, I could hear this amazing, relaxing and elegant music coming from there. My husband & I recently married in Rome …. We had the most beautiful ceremony in the Campidoglio & then on to an amazing wedding reception in the Kolbe Hotel !!!! But what made our reception was the music !!! The atmosphere these guys created was outstanding … they played straight from their hearts & our family & friends adored them as we did !!! They gave us refined with fun , laughter & love …. take a bow guys , you made our wedding sparkle !!!! We never wanted them to stop playing !!! We booked the Blue Moon Italian Jazz Band for our wedding in June 2024 on Lake Como. To make a long story short: The band is very professional and the music was simply fantastic. We and our guests really enjoyed it. In particular, we would like to mention that the preparation together with the pianist Raphael was very pleasant and absolutely exemplary. We had various special requests and Raphael spared no effort to test them in advance and let us know the result. We can recommend the band with a clear conscience and wish them all the very best on their musical journey!

They really made our wedding with their wonderful music. We couldn’t be more happy. Our guests could not stop talking about the music and the atmosphere their music created.

The band played a collection of jazz music during our aperitivo and it was our favourite part of the day. We could have listened to them for hours more!
Raphael also played the piano as our guests arrived and played the two songs we requested for our ceremony entrance and exit. At no point did any request seem like too much of an ask! Raphael was very communicative and we trusted him throughout the whole process (we are from the UK and so liaised over email until the wedding day).

As musicians ourselves, we thought finding the perfect music to accompany our wedding in Tuscany would be difficult. However Blue Moon Jazz quickly set us at ease. After being impressed with their sound on video, we managed to organise seeing the band instrumentally at a nearby venue they were playing whilst visiting our venue. They were so friendly and happy to let us come along for a live listen. They sounded even better in real life!

Blue Moon Jazz were the most wonderful wedding band for our wedding in Gardone Riviera at Lake Garda, and we loved every moment of their music!

When planning our wedding, Raphael was truly wonderful – communication was so easy, prompt and friendly, and we never once felt worried or stressed about the music, which was so appreciated when planning our wedding from abroad!

On the day of our wedding, Blue Moon set-up, coordinated with the venue, and played the most beautiful set. We asked them to accompany our reception, which they did beautifully. I corresponded remotely in the USA to setup everything with Rapheal who is both very professional and very responsive to all of my emails. They were outstanding. Blue Moon Jazz Trio played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner at our recent wedding celebration in Tuscany. They were AMAZING! All of our guests raved about how well they played and how nice and professional they were the entire time. They even learned (and played perfectly) a few specific songs for us that we requested to walk down the aisle to and have our first dance to. Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio played at our wedding ceremony and reception in Tuscany in October. The responsiveness during the planning could not be faulted and their flexibility in being able to learn our specified songs for during the ceremony was great. They had a lovely sound – just the style of jazz that we enjoy – and played a number of sets based on our preferences. They also played some more contemporary songs in a jazz style during the ceremony. They integrated into the ceremony without any hassle and were in fact the easiest of all the many parts of the wedding to organise. I would certainly recommend Raphael and the Blue Moon Quartet for any wedding or function – such a nice group of very talented people and they made our day truly memorable!

Raphael was so professional and sweet all through our planning, and we didn’t have to worry about anything. At the wedding day they arrived and and just started to play in front of the guest at the reception. everyone loved it. they were so kind and joyful, and was playing for hours with the biggest smile. so romantic and perfect for our wedding. we just sat in the sun, drinking champagne, eating delicious food and listened to real italian jazz. it couldn’t have been more perfekt. We loved Raphael and Blue Moon Jazz Trio! We had our wedding in Florence, Italy in Sept 2021 and they were soo wonderful! Raphael was so patient with us trying to select our songs and super accommodating. It took a while for us to decide and they very understanding. They were on-time and reliable. Everything went soo smoothly. We decided to include the sax during dinner and it made it so much more lively during the reception. They were so kind and sweet, and would highly recommend!

I found the Trio from mainly reading reviews on numerous sites. We had our wedding at the Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello and requested Raphael and his team play during our cocktail hour and meal. The music sounded beautiful! They played a great mix of old and new which went down brilliantly with the guests, a large number of which were singing along! We had so many compliments about the choice of music!

Our wedding in Tuscany this September was truly the best day! Raphael was amazing to communicate with in the lead up to the wedding, super relaxed and took care of everything! They were easy to work with on the day for our wedding co-ordinator and all our guests were in LOVE! We had a small, intimate wedding, and having a Jazz Band truly set the scene and atmosphere in the most magical way. They are talented, fun, and so kind. They even played our first dance song.

The Blue Moon Jazz Trio was incredible. We reached out to them one year in advance and they were completely professional and reliable and fun the entire way through. They joined us at a private villa in Tuscany, just south of Florence. We were initially nervous booking a band overseas without meeting them first but they made us feel comfortable right away via email. They made our wedding vibe very elegant and fun and they even played music that my dad requested so he could sing while we danced for the first time as husband and wife. We ABSOLUTELY recommend this band for an elegant, timeless, classy event. They made our wedding so special and memorable.

We were so thrilled to have a live band for our wedding at Il Borro( Tuscany). We saw the great reviews for Blue Moon but we and our guests were completely blown away by their repertoire and talent! They even learned our first dance songs, which were admittedly a little obscure. They are such kind people and were flexible with changing the location of their set up from outside on the terrace to inside in the library due to weather. You will love having this band at your wedding and you will always remember their energy, talent and kindness!

I always wanted a jazz band for my wedding and I truly thought it would be more like background music that not many people would pay attention too – however, Blue Moon were prominent in the best possible way. It was charming, romantic, fun and set the scene better than I could have ever imagined. I will never forget the sun setting to my right through the tuscan trees and then seeing the band to my left playing so elegantly in the sunset. It really was a dream come true.

10/10 would recommend over and over again.
