Blue Orchid are a duo based in Charleville county Cork. Guitar, vocals and Harmonica - Tadhg O Callaghan. Drums & Backing vocals - Tracy Noonan. They cover American folk & Country, Irish folk & Country and 60s Rock & Roll Music. The band also have their own original songs. Their new album "Gone country" was released in January 2026. The duo are currently working on another album which will be launched later in the year.
The band have extensive experience in the music industry having played throughout the UK, Europe and Ireland.
The band play a full 2 hour set without breaks and are open to travel.

We have many "best gigs" to choose from but if we had to pick it would have to be a gig we did in County Waterford. The people were so engaged and made it an enjoyable experience for all.
We love to play any type of event but we would find village bars to be very engaging and supportive of their local business.
Started gigging 16 years ago having played all across Ireland, England and Europe. Over the years both members have played hundreds if not thousands of gigs.
The American country greats such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings etc. Love the raw emotion and genius lyrics. From a rock perspective we are both huge fans of Fleetwood Mac. The Greatest song of all time for us would have to be the chain by Fleetwood Mac. Not only is the song brilliant but how it was created and the story behind it makes it our favorite song.
We always arrive early to set up. We play a full 2 hours with no breaks however we can accommodate the venue should they have specific times and policies. We are happy to play longer subject to negotiation.
Yes and we have done in the past. We would just require a flat level surface and a power supply.
We have a diverse range of music to suit any bar or venue. If the client wants to lean towards a specific genre we can accommodate within reason.
Previous clients have commented on our high energy and 100% live sound. Many of our clients have stated that we sound like a 3 or 4 piece band even though we are a duo.
