A musical theatre performance about the life story of David Bowie
Who was David Bowie? Do you know who inspired the Thin White Duke? What do you know about his Berlin period, or his later albums? And did you know he scored a major hit in the UK as recently as 2013?
Many famous artists admire Bowie so much that they’ve had him tattooed on their bodies. Others continue to perform his songs live—just as Bowie himself regularly played songs by other legendary artists.
The show is compact and flexible. Thanks to Robert Harms’ solo setup, it delivers the sound of a full band without complex technical requirements. The performance works perfectly in small to medium-sized venues while still making a big impact on the audience. That’s why Bowie Who is ideal for theatre programming that values both quality and efficiency.
During the performance, Robert Harms takes you on a musical journey through the life and music of David Bowie.
If you want to experience all of this musically, don’t miss a live performance of Bowie Who!

some songs are a surprise like the passenger from Iggy Pop. The same with Major Tom from Peter Schilling. There are more surprises n this set.
Power sockets. Space from 2 by 2 meters
Need to know if there is a place to load the equipment. Parking place nearby.
Completely self contained till 100 people. We can bring a lightning rig if necessary .
Yes Spotify can be played from the equipment.
Yes I can. I'll be ready to perform within 5 minutes if there is a stage box to the PA for 2 Jacks or XLR in.
The best gig was Ahoy Rotterdam during a Golden Earring farewell gig. Also a gig for someone who had cancer in a living room with 7 people. The man died three days after the gig but he had such a great evening. I'll never forget that gig.
Every event where I can get the people happy and that's what always happens.
I always worked in a cultural environment. Last job was for the council of culture in the Netherlands. I started playing guitar when I was 8 years old and this is the best thing that happend to me. At the age of 16 i started with singing lessons.
Greatest song of all time is hard to mention but I guess that Lazarus from David Bowie is unforgettable. Same is for Rock roll suicide from David Bowie but I like Oasis and the RHCP very well. In fact I like al kinds of music.
I can setup in 15 minutes and even faster if there is a PA available. With my own equipment it will be between 15 minutes and half an hour. No Soundcheck is necessary. No worries, no noises, quit and fast.
Yes I like to play outside. One of my outside gigs in Leuven Belgium was unforgettable. The crowd was so enthusiastic that the threw off there shirts.. Even the woman did that and sang and danced in their bra's. Yes l like outside very well.
Clients have a say in what I play, very important because I want to make a good show and want to do what clients expect.
Check the reviews, 5 stars everywhere, they are always surprised because I play different from other artists. I play with a looper with self recorded parts. No one does it like I do and no one sounds the same.
No, everything is ready to play.
