Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The Big Show in Mount Vernon, New York and Boston, MA.
Sharing the stage with The New Stylistics and The Temptations Revue. An amazing experience and awesome audience.

What's your favourite type of event?

We truly enjoy performing in theaters, casinos, and large venues, but some of our favorite shows are private parties. There’s something special about the intimate, close-knit atmosphere that allows us to really connect with the audience. We love interacting with the crowd, and smaller, more personal settings give us the perfect opportunity to do so. It’s where the real magic happens!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We’ve had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the greatest singers and musicians throughout our career. From our early days performing at dances, schools, and private parties, we’ve grown to love delivering unforgettable experiences at weddings, corporate events, and everything in between. Weddings in particular always hold a special place for us.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We’ve been heavily influenced by legendary artists such as The Temptations, Blue Magic, The Stylistics, Kool & The Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire, and many more. One of our all-time favorite songs is “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye. Even today, its powerful message continues to speak directly to the human spirit.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We typically arrive two hours before showtime to properly set up, have a sound check and prepare for the performance. Our standard show consists of two 40-minute sets, but we’re happy to adjust the length and format to best suit your event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We’re more than happy to perform outdoors, as long as the weather conditions are safe and comfortable. We do ask that shade be provided to protect us from the hot sun.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We typically perform with a well-prepared setlist, but we’re always happy to learn a few special songs that the client requests.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Most clients love our sweet soul harmony sound and how well we blend together. They also love all the dynamics we put into the music and the audiences love it.

What makes your group different than the other singing groups in the R&B field.
