Hi, I’m Cameron – a Scottish solo musician based in Cologne.
I play acoustic versions of well-known songs using guitar, vocals, harmonica, live loops, and foot percussion. I’ve been performing full-time for years across Germany, the UK, and Europe at all kinds of events — from pub gigs and festivals to weddings, corporate parties, and house concerts.
My setlist includes a big mix of styles, with everything from upbeat rock and pop singalongs to Scottish and Irish traditional music, folk blues, and chilled-out acoustic covers. I always adapt the music to fit the vibe of the event and am happy to take requests to make things feel more personal and fun.
I can provide all the sound equipment needed — from a small speaker setup for intimate shows to a full PA system for bigger events. I can also play completely unplugged if needed.
I’m easygoing, reliable, and always focused on making the event run smoothly and feel special. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional but relaxed, and passionate about creating good energy through live music, I’d love to be part of it.

Yes, can bring my own PA system, a busking amp for smaller gigs, or play completely unplugged if required.
Happy to play a spotify playlist through my system, and look after it for you. Can play a playlist of my own, or one that you request.
The first big gig I played after lockdown was in a large town square in Germany. Five bars with beer gardens surrounded the square, with open seating and additional bars in the middle. I didn’t know what to expect beforehand, so it was amazing to see more than 500 people gathered together again — and to get to play for them. One of the most fun parts was adapting my show by turning to face different directions during different songs, so I could connect with the whole crowd around the square.
As for venues, I especially enjoy playing regularly at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne. It was a cool moment the first time I got to perform there after years of visiting other Hard Rock locations.
I just love playing music, anywhere! But I particularly like small-medium sized events and parties where you can get to know people and tailor your music specifically to what they are most enjoying. It's great to be able to create an atmosphere that everyone can feel part of and enjoy.
I’ve been performing full-time for the past 7 years, based in Cologne and playing hundreds of mostly cover gigs across a wide range of events — from intimate bars and house concerts to large venues, weddings, parties, festivals, and more. I’ve been singing and playing guitar for nearly 25 years, and got started gigging through original bands and songwriting projects back home in Scotland. Over the years I’ve released albums with three different acts, toured across the UK and Europe, and in 2023 I released my debut solo album. Performing live has always been my focus — and I love adapting to each event and keeping things personal and engaging.
That’s a tough question! I’ve been most influenced by the guitar work of Brian May, Eric Clapton, and Jack White — and vocally by artists like Johnny Cash, B.B. King, and Freddie Mercury. The Beatles were a huge influence too, in terms of songwriting and creativity. If I had to pick a favourite band, it would be Queen. I’ve always loved the variety in their music, the incredible musicianship, and how each of the four members brought something unique to the table.
As for the greatest song of all time…choosing just one is impossible! It could be “Bohemian Rhapsody” or “Come Together” or "Stairway To Heaven" — but for me, personal favourites I keep coming back to include “The Man Comes Around” by Johnny Cash, “Carolina Drama” by The Raconteurs, “Machines” by Biffy Clyro, and “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac. I could never ever skip any of them.
I can set up my full PA and gear and be ready to play within 30 mins, but I typically arrive much earlier in case of any issues. My standard performance is a 2-3 hour show with one 20 min break in the middle. But I'm always open to longer or shorter gigs and arrangements.
Yes, I love playing outside. My only extra requirements would be power supply near the stage area and some kind of shelter from excess sun or rain!
Absolutely — clients are always welcome to have a say in what I play. Every gig is different, and I build the set as the night goes on based on the vibe and what people are enjoying most. I’m happy to take requests from my 500+ song repertoire, and if there's something special you'd like to hear, I’m often up for giving it a go on the spot. I'm also happy to learn a few new songs in advance if you have any favourites you'd love to include.
I usually hear that my shows are fun, personal, and full of good energy. I’ve been told they feel relaxed but still professional, with a nice balance of singalong favourites and a few unexpected tunes mixed in. Customers often comment on how I read the room and adapt the set as I go, which helps keep things feeling natural and connected. Whether it’s a chilled house concert or a louder, livelier party, I try to make it feel real and engaging — and easy for everyone to enjoy.
