Cherry Duo is a versatile duo with Kerry on vocals & keys and Brian on guitar. We can sound like a five piece band, with a lot of preparation behind the scenes, or a simple acoustic guitar accompaniment.
We are seasoned musicians having been in many bands and many years of experience. We have a bright rhythmic feel with a toe-tapping rhythm for fun lovin’ audiences and encourage interaction.
OUR MUSIC CHOICE:
We have a vast mix of genres for our audience including classic Rock 'n Roll, Swing, Ballads, Pop, Rockabilly and Instrumentals.
Our music can provide entertainment and sing-a-longs for events like parties, Australia Day and Christmas Day for example.
Classic songs we play include the greatest 50s-60s hits of Bill Haley, Beatles, Petula Clarke, Monkeys ... and many more.
We also include songs from the 70s-80s-90s of ABBA, Mavericks and DJ Otzi to the more recent.
Line dancers can enjoy songs like Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus, Neon Moon by Brooks & Dunn and Nutbush by Tina Turner.
Or listen to our more theatrical songs including Skyfall by Adel, You Don't Own Me by Dusty Springfield and House Of The Rising Sun by The Animals.
Timeless Instrumentals are a must from the Shadows Apache, Reef Break by The Atlantics and Moon Flower by Santana.
We also have a collection of early Australiana like Pub With No Beer and 1920s oldies like Five Foot Two Eyes Of Blue.

Our equipment is reliable quality and modern with backup. Our gear consists of various Digital Mixers, Sound Systems (PA), amplifiers/guitars, the latest data storage gear and also LED coloured lighting if required.

We also have Police Checks as required for Aged Care venues.

We play in Seniors/Over 50’s venues at the moment with a few private parties.
We have no favourite’s. They are all great songs and great musicians.
We allow 1.5 to 2 hours setup time if technical issues should occur.
We generally play extra time because the audience wants to keep going.
It’s no problem.
We are happy to play outside if terrain and environment are suitable.
This will cost more as we have to provide extra power equipment if power isn’t provided.
Yes, we take requests. If there is a special function then I would like plenty of notice so I can prepare the special song.
Clients are welcome to choose from our song list prior to the gig.
