Dean Watson Music is a solo male vocalist specialising in Rat Pack, swing, jazz and modern classics, bringing the style and atmosphere of the golden age of crooners to weddings and events.
I've been performing since a young age and have always loved this music, particularly the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the Rat Pack.
My performances are designed to complement the occasion rather than overpower it, from singing you down the aisle to providing live music during a drinks reception while your guests mingle and enjoy the atmosphere.
My wedding collections are centered around these moments with options for the ceremony, drinks reception or both together. I can also provide tailored performances for private and corporate occasions where a sophisticated live vocalist is the right fit.

I've performed at weddings and events in some beautiful venues across Newcastle, Northumberland and the surrounding areas. Newton Hall in Northumberland is a particular favourite, a fantastic venue I've enjoyed performing in.
Weddings are my favourite. I love being part of such an important day and performing during the ceremony or drinks reception, where the music can really create a special atmosphere.
I started gigging when I was 20, performing at weddings, birthday and various events around Newcastle. I've always loved performing live and over the years I've gravitated towards weddings and events where I can bring a relaxed style of music to the occasion.
Frank Sinatra is my favourite artist. I've always loved his voice and effortless style and his music was (and still is) a huge influence on my performances. The greatest song of all time is Mr. Bojangles.
Arrival is 2 hours before performance to allow for set up. Ceremony Collection consists of roughly 45 min set which includes guest arrival music, bridal entrance, ceremony music where appropriate, signing of the register and exit music. The Champagne Collection consists of 2 x 45 minute live sets during the drinks reception
Weather permitting - happy to perform in a covered area outside
I have comprised a set list I know that works however am always open to discussion with clients about anything they would like added/removed
