Q: How long have you been drawing caricatures?
A: I have been drawing caricatures professionally since 1995.

Q: Is a caricature a drawing where the artist just accentuates one particular feature, like the nose?
A: Absolutely not. A good caricature is a drawing that observes your individual likeness and accentuates those traits which make you look like you. My caricatures have been described as “fun and flattering”.

Q: What areas do you serve?
A: Pretty much everywhere! I am based out of Austin, Texas. And I most often serve the metro areas of San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas

Q: How can I book an artist?
A: Simply fill out the online contact form. You will be contacted to discuss the details and answer any questions you may have. If you decide to book my services, I will send you a contract to be officially booked!

Q: Do you have a minimum amount of hours for a booking, or a maximum?
A: Generally, I have a 3 hour minimum booking requirement. But I have been known to make exceptions. I have no maximum limit.

Q: What requirements do the artists have to set up?
A: I only require access to an electrical outlet, two chairs, and adequate lighting and ask to be set up indoors, or in a covered area.

Q: What does each guest walk away with?
A: Each guest receives a complimentary 12”x16” drawing. As an added bonus to you, I also provide "Drawing Protectors" (a clear, plastic wrap combined with a sturdy sheet of mat board backing) for each person to protect and display their caricatures.

Q: How long does it take to do each drawing?
A: Approximately 5 to 6 minutes each to draw a face color. I average 9-10 faces per hour at most events. I can draw more faces per hour if working just in black and white.

Q: Can you put our logo on each caricature? What about backgrounds?
A: Including a logo or the name of the event on each caricature is an optional service. But if you would like me to create a custom background environment or cartoon body, a studio fee will apply.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Checks, credit cards or Paypal. Details can be worked out when you contact me.

How do digital caricatures work exactly?
Digital caricatures are drawn on a digital tablet similar to an iPad. I project the drawing onto a 27″ screen that I provide or directly to your HDTV on site . This allows maximum visibility for your event.
I print the caricature out in full color on a small mobile printer I provide. I also make the caricatures available to download the next day, so that you attendees can email them around, post them to social media, or proudly display their unique gift.
Digital caricatures take about 7 minutes per person. While this is less per hour than traditional caricatures, the entertainment value is huge !
What does the artist need ?
Artist will need a table at least two feet around next to an electrical outlet. Artist provides the screen, a tripod for the drawing tablet, the printer, and all other necessary equipment.

How much space do you need ?
Artist will need space for a table at least three feet long with an electrical outlet and two chairs.
How will people get their digital copies ?
After the event, usually the same day, Artist will upload all the drawings from the day onto a special client download area. The link location for downloading their digital copy will be printed on each photo for the convenience of the individual.
How much do digital event caricatures cost ?
Digital caricature packages starts at an hourly rate with a three-hour minimum. Discounted and day rates apply if you’d like to book for six hours or more per day. The rate includes full color caricatures, your company or event logo printed on each picture in full color, on-the-spot color printing, and free digital downloads.
Are digital event caricatures right for me ?
If you are looking for a big “WOW” factor and want to give your guests something most of them haven’t seen before, digital caricatures would be perfect for you.
