I am a South African dj that is based in Malta. I've been djing live since 2006.
I've centralised my gigs to that of weddings and local private and corporate events. At these forementioned gigs the style of music I play is suited first to the client and then to the crowd. This would almost always comprise of commercial radio edits from all different genres and years.
If you asked me what my favourite style of music was then it would have to be Tech House - I love the energy and the raw tribal sounds without bombarding monotonous heavy bears. Then again everyone has different likes and tastes and we should respect everyones choice of listening pleasures.
I'm a very easy going person that just wants to please the people I play for.

If I am providing a sound setup, I usually arrive 1.5 hours before the scheduled start time.
I perform regularly outside, primarily for wedding events.
I believe that each group of people is different from one another and also has different music tastes. `
I usually ask for a list of preferred songs, on average, 20 songs per hour that I am booked to play. I then make sure I have all the songs listed and put them together in a playable order. Then I use this as my guide to playing the songs for the event.
