I’m Michael D, a Barcelona-based DJ and event curator. My sets blend AfroBeat, Afro House, Amapiano, Funk, Disco, Hip Hop, and global grooves — always melodic, always tailored to the crowd. I am an open format DJ so I collect most genre.
A DJ booth with speakers and power socket near by. I can bring my own equipment (turntables or controller + full sound system) if not provided and a mixing table for the bands.
We need to know if the venue has a sound system and everything that the venue will provide in terms of equipment.
No, we do not provide lighting equipment but we can provide sound equipment (fee will vary depending on equipment required).
Yes we can provide a playlist for before and after our sets

We started gigging after studying music technology and working in bars and restaurants as bar managers in UK. We've played in clubs, bars, weddings, corporate events and private parties

The setup time depends on what equipment I need to bring but for a dj set its normally between 15 mins and 30 mins and for a band 1h/1.5h with the sound check.
The DJ sets are normally between 2 and 4 hours and the bands can either do 3 sets of 30 minutes or 5 sets of 20 minutes
Yes as long as its well equipped for any type of weather.
We are happy to received a list of songs before hand.
