About / Biography

I am a professional jazz singer specializing in classic American Jazz Standards, inspired by legendary artists such as Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and Tony Bennett.

As a Quarter-Finalist on The Voice of Germany, I bring a professional stage presence and a warm, authentic jazz sound to every performance.

I perform live jazz for weddings, corporate events (Firmenfeiern), private celebrations, and special occasions. My regular setup is a duo with a pianist/guitarist and upright bassist, creating an elegant and intimate atmosphere while keeping the music flexible and dynamic.

Depending on the occasion, venue, and budget, the band can also be expanded to a larger ensemble for a fuller jazz experience.

From sophisticated background music during dinner to a lively performance that brings guests together, I tailor the music to the atmosphere and style of each event.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

For a standard duo/trio setup, we require a suitable PA system, vocal microphone(s), microphone stands, basic monitoring, and sufficient power outlets. We can also provide or coordinate the necessary equipment depending on the venue and event requirements.

What information do you require about a venue?

To prepare for a performance, I would need basic information about the venue, including the performance area and available space, approximate audience size, indoor or outdoor setup, available sound equipment and technical facilities, access to power outlets, and the venue’s load-in/access arrangements.

It is also helpful to know the event schedule, performance times, and whether there are any specific requirements or restrictions regarding sound levels or setup.

For larger events or special setups, additional technical details can be discussed in advance.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes. I can provide a basic sound system for smaller performances, particularly when the venue is within a reasonable distance from my base in Cologne.

For larger events, bigger venues, or performances requiring more extensive sound equipment, I would be happy to work with the venue’s existing PA system or coordinate with a professional sound technician/company.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

No, I do not provide Spotify or DJ services before or between my sets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

My most memorable performance was on The Voice of Germany, performing on national German television in front of millions of viewers.

Being part of such a high-profile production was an incredible experience and a major highlight of my career. I also had the opportunity to be coached by renowned German artists Lena Meyer-Landrut and Stefanie Kloß, which made the experience even more special and valuable as a musician.

What's your favourite type of event?

Weddings are my favourite type of event. I love being part of such a beautiful, meaningful, and sentimental occasion. Music can create unforgettable moments, from an intimate ceremony to a joyful celebration, and I especially enjoy creating a warm and elegant atmosphere with live jazz.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

My journey as a professional singer began in Bali, Indonesia, where I performed regularly in hotels, restaurants, and private events. Over the years, I developed my style and passion for live jazz, performing for a wide variety of audiences and occasions.

After moving to Germany, I continued building my career as a professional singer, performing at weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and other special occasions. My experience in both Bali and Germany has given me the opportunity to perform for different audiences and create music that connects with people.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

The singer who has influenced me the most is Nat King Cole. I admire his warm, effortless voice, incredible phrasing, and timeless elegance.

If I had to choose one greatest song of all time, I would choose There Will Never Be Another You — a beautiful jazz standard that I never get tired of singing.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

My typical setup time is around 1 hour before the performance.

I normally perform 2 × 45-minute sets, with a short break in between. The exact performance schedule can be adapted depending on the event and the client’s requirements.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors and at a variety of venues. As long as there is a suitable and reliable sound system appropriate for the performance and audience size, I’m happy to perform wherever the occasion takes me.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have a repertoire list that I share with my clients, and they are welcome to request songs from the list.

I’m also happy to consider special song requests, provided they are made at least two weeks before the event. This gives me enough time to learn and properly prepare any songs that are not already part of my repertoire.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe me as warm, professional, easy to work with, and passionate about music. They appreciate my authentic jazz style, engaging stage presence, and my ability to create an elegant and relaxed atmosphere while making each performance feel personal and special.
