We need details of whether the bar will be indoors or outdoors, available bar space, loading access, stairs or lifts, parking and any venue rules affecting beverage service.

We require a level area for the agreed bar setup, convenient loading access and nearby parking. Access to clean water and electricity may be needed, depending on the equipment booked. Outdoor bars need suitable weather protection. We confirm the space and facilities required before the event.

Please allow up to 2 hours for unloading, bar setup and preparation, and approximately 1 hour for packing down and loading afterwards. Timing depends on the setup size and venue access. These arrangements are agreed beforehand and scheduled separately from your booked beverage service, which has a minimum duration of 3 hours.

Drinks Weather builds on our founder Vusumuzi Qwabe’s over 20 years of hospitality experience across international cruise ships, luxury hotels and event bar services. His background includes mixology, bar management, menu development and staff training. He established Drinks Weather to bring that experience to events in Cape Town and surrounding areas.

We combine international hospitality experience with personal attention to your event. Our planning covers menu selection, stock guidance, staffing, bar setup, service and pack-down. Clients can choose a complete bar package, supply their own stock or book staff only. We explain our charges clearly and coordinate the preparation, deployment and service around your requirements.

Yes. We offer staff-only service, a bar setup with client-supplied stock, or a complete package where Drinks Weather supplies the drinks.

We can also assist with menu selection, shopping quantities and stock planning. Staff bookings have a minimum duration of 3 hours. Your quotation clearly sets out the agreed staffing, equipment, planning and logistics charges before you confirm.

Yes. We tailor the drinks menu, bar setup and staffing to your occasion, guest numbers, preferences and budget. Options include cocktails, mocktails, full bar and coffee services. You can supply your own stock or choose a package where Drinks Weather supplies the drinks.

Our starter package includes one mobile bar counter, 50 glasses and 3 hours of professional bar service, with drinks supplied by the client.

Your quotation confirms the staffing, planning, preparation, setup and pack-down arrangements. Travel and logistics are charged separately. Additional equipment, longer service hours and packages with drinks supplied are available.
