Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Technical requirements vary depending on the ensemble booked and the nature of the event. A discussion and, if necessary, a venue visit may be required to assess the available space, acoustics, access, and performance setup.
For solo cello performances, I only require a chair and sufficient space to perform comfortably. Additional requirements for duos, trios, quartets, or larger ensembles will be discussed during the planning process to ensure the best possible experience for your event.

What information do you require about a venue?

For each booking, I kindly ask for clear venue details to help ensure a smooth setup and performance. This includes directions to the location, information on where to load in equipment, and access to the performance area.
It is also important to know whether the event will take place indoors or outdoors, as this can affect both the setup and sound requirements.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, I can provide my own sound setup when needed. I work with a JBL EON ONE Compact, which is a portable PA system suitable for smaller to medium-sized events and indoor or intimate venues.
For larger events or specific technical requirements, sound and equipment needs can be discussed in advance to ensure the best possible setup for your location and ensemble.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I’m happy to provide background music from Spotify before, after, and between my live sets. I can either select the music myself to match the atmosphere of the event, or I can follow a playlist chosen by the client, depending on your preferences.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

had the privilege of performing at an intimate, luxurious wedding at Villa Rothschild in France, an unforgettable experience.
It was an incredibly special event for an influencer’s wedding, where I performed alongside a full musical setup including a big band, singers, and a string quartet. The atmosphere was both elegant and intimate at the same time, with every detail beautifully curated.
Being part of such an emotional and important day was truly meaningful for me. The combination of the venue, the artists, and the atmosphere created a unique experience.

What's your favourite type of event?

I genuinely enjoy performing at all kinds of occasions. I’m happy to play weddings, corporate events, private parties, restaurant gigs, cultural events, and everything in between.
What matters most to me is the atmosphere. I love seeing people relaxed, comfortable, smiling, and enjoying themselves. For me, it’s very important that my music helps create a positive energy, where guests feel good, connect with each other, and truly enjoy the moment.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

My first performances started in Italy while I was still studying at the conservatory. I began playing gigs with a violinist colleague and close friend, and it was a completely new, exciting, and inspiring experience for me.
We performed together at different events, and I really enjoyed discovering this side of music-making. That experience made me want to continue and develop further as a performing musician, which is how I gradually started working on more events and collaborations.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance to set up, get familiar with the venue, and carry out any necessary sound checks.
Performance schedules are always discussed and agreed upon with the client in advance. In general, I find that sets of around 45 minutes work very well, followed by a short break before continuing. However, the length and number of sets can be adapted to suit the needs and flow of each event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I am happy to perform outdoors. However, to protect both the instrument and the quality of the performance, I require a shaded area, a flat and stable surface, and, if amplification is needed, access to a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are absolutely welcome to have a say in the playlist and musical selections. I am happy to tailor the repertoire to your preferences and the atmosphere you would like to create.
If the event is booked sufficiently in advance, I can prepare and arrange specific song requests, ensuring that the music feels personal and meaningful for your special occasion.
