My setup is very flexible. Acoustic is supported by backing tracks through a speaker attached to my person. I am able to provide Strolling Minstrel type performance as a solo artist.
If stationary a 4'x4' space is sufficient.
Does the venue provide sound or lighting? What is the stage design or set up? Is there a green room for cases and personal effects, changing room, restroom? Does the venue provide beverages or food? What is the load in information? What is the parking information?
I provide my own equipment for amplification of my backing tracks and my instrumentation. I do not provide sound or lighting for anyone else.
Yes, I can provide Spotify before, between and after sets. The client can customize if desired.
The most profound gig I've ever played was the 1000 year celebration of the Khoyasan Mountain Buddhist Temple in Japan.
The best venue, so far, has been Yoshi's Jazz Club in San Francisco, California.
Any event that people are truly having a great time. I love weddings because they're a special time and everyone is celebrating.
Funerals can be profound in their own way, too. It's important to me, as a musician, to create the appropriate atmosphere for all events no matter how dynamic.

So many influences in my musical reality from Dvorak to Prince, Mozart to Metallica, Kansas to Lady Gaga to match my favorite styles with artists. I honestly don't have a specific solitary favorite artist or song.
There's a perfect song for every moment which is why I'm a multi-genre instrumentalist.
Playing music to the best of my ability and watching it effect people in a deeply positive way.
I can play violin and hula-hoop at the same time, well. 😆
For small venues or intimate settings, I use my acoustic violin and my JBL speaker for my backing tracks. The speaker is attached to my waist. This way, I am easily able to stroll through the venue. I can also be stationary without taking too much room. My acoustic setup takes about 5 minutes, though I will arrive 30 minutes early.
When I'm playing electric violin, I arrive 45 minutes early to set up my amplifier and instrument and do a sound check.
I most often do 2x45 minutes or 1x2 hour sets. Of course, timing, sets and music choices can be customized.
I'm happy to play outside in dry and warm conditions. I request shaded areas during the sunlight. I must play under cover at night. The violin is a sensitive instrument
My lists can be customized to the event. However, I do have quite a long and expansive set list. Clients are welcome to create a set list based on my repertoire.
Requests must be made 3 weeks in advance if they are not already on the list and exceed more than 5 songs.
Clients have described my music as emotionally captivating. Often, people sing along and sometimes they cry.
