I love anywhere that I can share my music but I especially love playing for ceili dances

I have been performing for over 25 years with various instruments, however, I started busking almost 2 years ago. I finally got my first paid St Patrick’s Day gig in 2026 and have been addicted to actively seeking out gigs ever since.

My influences and tastes in music are eclectic: anything from Irish tunes to baroque (love Bach!) to classical to glam rock to the Pogues to Ed Sheeran, etc. I could go on and on about music

I typically play 2 45 minute sets but I am flexible with timing. I typically arrive at least an hour before the performance to ensure all my equipment is set up and I am tuned, warmed up, and ready to entertain my audience.

Unless weather is rather inclement (heavy rain, winds and snow) then I don’t mind playing outside. Even extreme heat does not bother me. For light rain and snow, I do prefer somewhere to stand under so my instrument and equipment do not get damaged.

I am open and happy to learn and play new repertoire as long as I am given sufficient time to learn, based on the difficulty of the piece—however, I am quick to learn new pieces.

Previous audiences have loved my lively playing and feel I am really absorbed into the music (see my candid fiddling in the rain video). Many feel they are taken away to Ireland itself.
