What are your basic technical requirements?

Performance space.


What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. Additionally, we’d need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I bring my own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.


Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I normally would play music between sets.

My journey as a gigging musician began with performances at venues like Navy Yard Soloist in Washington D.C. from 2018 to 2018. During this time, I had the opportunity to showcase my musical talents to live audiences and through recordings. Auditioning for positions in various music groups, including orchestras and bands, allowed me to refine my skills.


Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

As a musician, I've been most influenced by artists like Najee, whose mastery of the saxophone and fusion of jazz, R&B, and funk have left an indelible mark on my musical journey. His smooth melodies and soulful compositions have inspired me to explore new horizons in my own playing and composing, pushing me to continually evolve as an artist. The way Najee effortlessly blends genres and creates emotive musical landscapes has deeply resonated with me, shaping my approach to music and performance.

While there are many incredible artists who have influenced me over the years, Najee holds a special place in my heart, and his music continues to inspire and captivate me. His ability to convey emotion through his instrument is unparalleled, and I find myself returning to his discography time and time again for inspiration and guidance. What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up.


Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm pleased to perform outside, but I request shade, a flat level surface, and a power supply near the performance area.


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs before the event, but we typically limit this to 5 songs. You're welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for you.
