The Fourmost, originating from the vibrant Mersey beat scene of the 1960s, was managed by Brian Epstein, alongside other iconic acts such as The Beatles, Billy J Kramer, Gerry and The Pacemakers, and Cilla Black. The band initially achieved chart success with hits like "Hello Little Girl" (No. 9) and "A Little Loving" (No. 6). They also released other tracks such as "I'm In Love" (17), "Baby I Need Your Lovin" (24), "Girls Girls Girls" (33), and a cover of George Formby's "Auntie Maggie's Remedy" which did not chart in the UK.
The 1970s and early 1980s presented challenges for The Fourmost as they navigated the cabaret circuit amidst the rise of disco, funk, glam rock, and punk. However, since the mid-1980s, the band has experienced a resurgence as part of the broader 1960s revival movement.

We've been fortunate enough to perform at numerous prestigious events over the years.
A major highlight was our 60-date national theatre tour in 2018/19, where we played iconic venues like St David's Hall (Cardiff), Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, Manchester Opera House, and Sheffield City Hall.
Our success continued in 2023 with performances at Scotland's finest halls, including The Perth Concert Hall, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and Queens Hall in Edinburgh. We've also taken our talent international, performing in Denmark (2022 and again in 2024) and visiting the Republic of Ireland on multiple occasions since 2017.
One unique experience was our three shows aboard the Celebrity Eclipse Cruise Liner in 2016 as part of the "Rock The Boat" cruise.
We take pleasure in performing at numerous music festivals where we have been scheduled to participate, in addition to presenting our own theatrical production (A Ticket to Ride) that we travel with throughout the United Kingdom.
