I started gigging when I was 13 in Santa Cruz, California. moved to New York City at the age of 19 and started working at Jimi Hendrix' Electric Lady Studios for 5 years. I met so many artists, producers, engineers and industry contacts there. I began touring with Soup Dragons, Roachford, Leona Naess, Idina Menzel, Alejandro Escovedo, Garland Jeffreys, Laurie Anderson, N'Dea Davenport, Meshell N'Degeocello and Natalie Merchant from 1998-2017. I have released 10 albums of my own and now live on my farm on the island of Strynø in Denmark with my wife and children.

Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, Prince, Jimi Hendrix. Prince is my favorite.

I normally arrive 2 or 3 hours before the performance and set up and do a very short line check (soundcheck). I usually perform 2 X 45 minutes or 2 X 60 minutes. I'm happy to play a bit shorter or longer.
