Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

Two performances hold a very special place in my heart :
When I was 25, I was a finalist in the French music competition Je veux signer chez AZ, which gave me the incredible opportunity to perform on the legendary stage of the Olympia in Paris. Knowing how many extraordinary artists have performed there before me made it a very emotional and unforgettable moment.
Another beautiful memory goes back to when I was 19 and singing with the band Goldsinger. We performed in Gstaad, Switzerland, at an event where Elton John was among the guests. Seeing him applaud my performance is a memory that has stayed with me ever since.
Both experiences were very different, but they remain two of the most memorable moments of my life as a singer.

What's your favourite type of event?

Private events.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started performing professionally at the age of 18 on the French Riviera, where I gained my first experience singing at events and private functions, particularly in Monaco. I had the opportunity to perform at many elegant and prestigious events, which taught me very early on how to adapt to different audiences and create the right atmosphere for each occasion.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I’ve been influenced by many different artists over the years, from Björk, Massive Attack and Portishead to more intimate artists like Daughter and London Grammar. I’m particularly drawn to artists who create a strong atmosphere and have a unique musical identity.
If I had to choose one favourite artist, it would be David Bowie. I love his freedom, creativity and his ability to constantly reinvent himself without ever losing his identity.
And if I had to choose one song, it would probably be “Teardrop” by Massive Attack. There’s something about that song that deeply moves me : the voice, the production, the atmosphere… it has a kind of timeless beauty that still affects me every time I hear it.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I need at least one hour to set up my equipment and soundcheck. My standard performance is 2 hours, either as one continuous set or split into two 1 hour sets, depending on the event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, absolutely, as long as a suitable sheltered area is provided in case of bad weather.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have an established repertoire, but I’m always happy to adapt the setlist to the client’s tastes and the atmosphere they want to create. Clients can also let me know their favourite songs from my repertoire, as well as any songs they would prefer me not to play.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe my performances as elegant, warm and engaging. They particularly appreciate my voice, the variety of my repertoire and the way I adapt to the atmosphere and the audience. I’m also often told that I create a genuine connection with people while remaining natural and unobtrusive when the occasion calls for it.
