Garden State plays the music by Southside Johnny, Steven Van Zandt and Bruce Springteen. From well-known singalongs to quiet ballads, soulful music performed in the no-nonsense New Jersey style. Of course in the full line-up: drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, 5 horn players, two female singers and a male lead vocalists. A wall of sound with lots of attitude!

Stage area should be approx 35m2. Dressing room(s) should be able to accommodate 12 musicians. 16 amps of power spread out over several outlets will suffice for amps and wirelass rack. Garden State will bring their own wireless mics, IEM's, transmitters, receivers, DI's. We will not bring a PA system, stands, floor monitors or lighting systems.

We played a few theatres and smaller festivals in The Netherlands
Our favourite gig is a full show in a (open air) theatre, but festivals are great too !
I (studio owner/ engineer) started this band as a one off to play the music I like the most. But all members, professional and seasoned amateurs alike, liked it so much that we are now taking this thing on the road.
No doubt: Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. And, therefore, also Steven Van Zandt Bruce Springsteen.
Greatest song of all time ? Hard one, probably The Fever by Springsteen sung by Southside
Stage should be approximately 35m2. Garden State will bring wireless mics and In-Ear Monitor systems which require about an hour to setup (including frequency coordinations).
Average gig is 2x 1 hour, but other arrangemenst can be met, of course.

A tribute band, which we are, sort of, should not try to imitate (as in: dress the same, move the same, use the same exact instruments), but play the music that inspired them in a way that shows understanding and love for the material and also let some of their own taste and musicality shine through
