The Visual Ministry Gospel Choir Dynamic gospel singers & choirs for corporate, private and luxury events

Our technical requirements depend on the size of the choir, venue and type of performance. As a minimum, we require a suitable performance area and appropriate vocal microphones and PA/sound reinforcement for the number of singers booked. For larger events, we are happy to liaise directly with the venue or production team in advance to confirm the technical specification.

We require the full venue address, performance and access times, details of the performance space, parking/loading arrangements and a contact for the venue or event production team. We also need to know what PA and microphones are available, whether a sound engineer will be present and whether there are any sound restrictions. A suitable private changing/holding area is also appreciated where available.

Our standard performance fee does not automatically include PA or lighting equipment, as many of the venues and corporate events we perform at have professional production facilities in place. Where required, sound equipment can be discussed and arranged separately depending on the venue, choir size and event requirements.

It’s difficult to choose just one, but performing for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at the Commonwealth Day celebrations at Westminster Abbey was a particularly special moment. We’ve also been privileged to perform at major events including The BRIT Awards and at some incredible venues across the UK. Every event is different, but those occasions where the music, audience and atmosphere come together are always memorable.

We genuinely enjoy the variety. Corporate events and high-profile celebrations give us the opportunity to create those unexpected, show-stopping moments, while weddings allow us to be part of something incredibly personal and joyful. Christmas and New Year events are also favourites because gospel music naturally brings such energy, warmth and celebration to the room. Whatever the occasion, we love seeing the reaction when the harmonies hit and the atmosphere changes.

Our sound is rooted in traditional and contemporary gospel, with influences spanning soul, R&B, Motown and popular music. Artists such as Kirk Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston represent the kind of powerful vocals, musicianship and soul that have influenced gospel performers across generations.
Choosing one greatest song is almost impossible, but “Oh Happy Day” has to be one of gospel music’s most iconic songs. It transcends generations and cultures, and when performed by a great gospel choir it still has the ability to completely lift a room.

Our performance times are tailored to each event. We can provide anything from a short 10–20 minute feature performance through to longer sets or multiple appearances throughout an event. Arrival and setup times depend on the size of the choir and the production requirements. For larger events, we will coordinate with the venue or production team in advance to allow sufficient time for setup and soundcheck.

Yes, we can perform outdoors, subject to suitable weather conditions and appropriate arrangements being in place. We require a safe, level and covered performance area, particularly where microphones or electrical equipment are being used. Technical and power requirements can be discussed in advance according to the event.

Absolutely. We want the music to complement the occasion, so clients are welcome to discuss their preferred style and select favourites from our repertoire. We can also consider special song requests with sufficient notice. Where clients prefer us to take the lead, we’re equally happy to create a set that suits the event, audience and atmosphere.
