We are honored be the most recent winners of “Best Local CO Band” by “Denver A-List”. Thank you to our fans for all your love and support!
HomeSlice is one of Colorado’s most exciting live bands turning weddings, corporate events, festivals, and concert venues into massive dance parties and epic celebrations since 2002!
HomeSlice is a high energy nine-piece cover band with an impressive horn section and powerful vocals. The band has experience, talent, professionalism, an extremely diversified song list, and a personable nature that is winning fans over everywhere. HomeSlice gets the party started!
What you might not realize is that you are also hiring a group of dedicated CO musicians that thrive on seeing the joyous responses of our clients throughout their events. Our booking agents are actual members of the band (sax and bass players) and have the firsthand experience to help you in your planning of a smooth flowing, well-designed, event. We build a relationship with our clients where they trust in us knowing we care, and we deliver a musical experience to back it up.
= areas covered (up to 355 miles)
= free travel (up to 55 miles)
We keep a complete songlist on our website (not in this platform).
We like a performance area (stage or not) of approximately 12x24'. We prefer two 15 or 20 amp circuits.
We will help learn about venues and have played many of the popular wedding/private event venues.

There are too many magical nights to pick just one. Our best venue probably has to be the Lake Dillon Amphitheater. We have played their summer concert series around 4 times over the years, and it was always epic.
Any event where we can turn it into a massive dance party.
The band was formed in 2002. The band has evolved over the years and is stronger than ever. Many of the musicians have college degrees (Undergrad and Masters) for their instrument. The members have an impressive mix of experience; touring internationally, performing in major Broadway productions, playing with well-known national acts, etc.. For example, our saxophonist is the official saxophonist of the Denver Broncos since his audition in 2016.
We play an extremely diversified songlist that focuses on anything that gets people dancing. We love it all!
For Weddings:
Ceremonies are usually around 4:00. We have the main band area set up before guests arrive. Most of our weddings add us running sound and providing a combo for ceremony. We have lapel mics, wireless reader mics, and the ability to form different small combos. We also often have a combo play for cocktail hour right after the ceremony. We own multiple PA systems, so we can easily transition. The transition to the main room usually includes a grand entrance with the help of our emcee. Dinner is usually mp3 music through our PA followed by toasts that our saxophonist emcees. Special dances often flow into what is usually an immediate high energy dance party for the rest of the night. Our bookers are members of the band and communicate with you during planning so that we make it flow how you want. The above information is just the standard general flow.
We need to have cover (even just a tent) to protect us and our equipment from the elements.
Our clients are encouraged to email us a list of songs that they love, and perhaps a few that they do not love, by viewing our songlist on our website. We will also learn a song or two if we don't already know someone's favorite.
We are thankful for all the Google Reviews that our clients have written about us. We love doing this and helping our clients to create magical memories. The reviews couldn't be more positive.
This is a question that a lot of brides and grooms didn't know that they should ask. Or, ask what the names of the lead singers are and the guitarist/drummer/keyboardist... it is shocking how many "bands" won't be able to tell you.
Hiring a real band gets you that polished performance that comes from gig after gig with the same musicians where you get tight, not to mention band rehearsals.
I (saxophonist) will do a last-minute talent agency "band" gig if HomeSlice isn't booked. I know from first-hand experience that playing in a pieced together talent agency band is risky (musicians know songs in different keys, have never played with the other musicians, maybe ended up with a bad singer that night, etc.), stressful (I've even done these gigs at high-end Aspen weddings where I can't believe the couple didn't hire a real band), and never as tight as a real band.
If you can afford a real band like HomeSlice, that is the way to go.
