I require a performance space of at least 3 meters x 2 meters for my DJ setup. I need 2 x 13 amp power sockets within easy reach of the performance area. If the event is in a venue without a house DJ booth. Parking or a loading zone near the venue entrance is appreciated for easy equipment transport.
I need detailed directions to the venue and clear instructions for loading in and setting up equipment. Please inform me in advance if the venue has a sound limiter, noise restrictions, or any curfews that could affect the performance. I also need to know if the venue provides its own sound system or if I should bring my full PA setup.
Yes. I can be fully self-contained, providing my own professional PA system and a compact lighting rig suitable for small to medium-sized venues. For larger events, I can coordinate with the venue’s in-house production team or bring in additional sound/lighting as needed (additional cost may apply).
Yes. I can play Spotify playlists or pre-mixed DJ sets before, between, and after my live performances. I can choose the music to fit the atmosphere or work from a client-provided playlist.
One of my favourite gigs was performing a late-night Amapiano and Desi fusion set at a packed underground club in Toronto. The crowd’s energy was electric, and the dance floor stayed full until closing. The best venue I’ve worked at so far was The Grad Club in Kingston, where I combined live looping and custom remixes in an intimate space with incredible sound and lighting.
I enjoy all kinds of events, but my favourite is a high-energy club night where the crowd is open to exploring new sounds. There’s nothing better than taking people on a journey—introducing them to unexpected genres and watching the whole room move together.
I started gigging while at Queen’s University, performing at campus events and hosting live beat-making sessions through the QWave music collective. Over time, I moved into playing bars, clubs, and private events, building a style that blends electronic, hip-hop, and cultural fusion sounds. Since then, I’ve performed at a variety of venues and events, from intimate lounges to large student festivals.
I’ve been heavily influenced by WondaGurl for her innovative production style, Black Coffee for his deep house mastery, and Kaytranada for his groove-driven, genre-blending approach. My current favourite artist is Kaytranada, and for me, the greatest song of all time is “God Put a Smile Upon Your Face” (Mark Ronson Remix)—a perfect example of reimagining a classic with modern production.
I normally arrive 90 minutes to 2 hours before the performance to set up my DJ equipment, sound system, and lighting if required. A standard booking is typically 2–4 hours of continuous DJing, but I can adapt to the event’s schedule, whether that’s shorter showcases or extended all-night sets.
Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors, provided there is adequate shade or cover, a flat, stable surface, and a reliable power supply close to the performance area. Weather considerations are important for protecting equipment.
Absolutely—clients can give specific genre preferences, song requests, or must-play tracks ahead of time. I’m happy to work from a client’s playlist, incorporate up to 5 special request songs, or curate the full setlist myself based on the crowd and atmosphere.
Previous clients often describe my performances as high-energy, crowd-focused, and seamlessly mixed, with a unique ability to blend genres and keep the dance floor moving all night.
