Ivan Borodzhiev is a saxophone and flute player from Sofia, a Master of Pop and Jazz Music graduate of Bulgaria's National Academy of Music "Prof. P. Vladigerov". Since 2005 he has held the second tenor sax and first flute chairs in the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band, and his television credits include arranging and performing on Nova TV's Ivan & Andrey Show, leading the brass section for the channel's talent shows, and studio recordings for X Factor Bulgaria.
He spent six years in ship bands with DFDS Seaways across northern Europe, and his Light Sax Duo has been a summer fixture at five-star hotels in Albena and Sunny Beach. He performs world music, house and jazz - with backing tracks, with bands or DJs, or fully acoustic.
