I would highly recommend Jack. He played at my 50th Birthday party and was brilliant, all my guests commented on how great he was. He was excellent at communicating with me prior to my event, really flexible and couldn't have been more accommodating when it came to song choices. My 10 year old son is learning the bass guitar and wanted to play with Jack for a few songs, Jack allowed him to do this and he was so kind to my son, it really made my birthday. Thanks so much Jack!
Jack was genuinely incredible. Phenomenal repertoire of Country & Western tunes through the generations, and a great ability to add a twang onto more mainstream classics later on into the night. All of my friends remarked how awesome he was and he was a genuinely lovely bloke as well. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
We had Jack play at my 30th birthday party and I couldn’t recommend him enough! He had a QR code so we could request what he played and everyone was dancing along to a range of indie bangers, 90s throwbacks and even some T Swift. Despite being one guy his energy and music filled the room and brought the party. All the songs sounded great and my friends couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed the set!

Jack was brilliant! He played everything we asked for and by the end of the night he was playing loads of Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo for a singalong, he enjoyed the challenge of playing the requests and you could tell he was having fun with it.
Jack was really fantastic at our event. He was very easy to deal with before, giving me a call a few days before to finalise details. He turned up on time, was very little effort to look after, and played some excellent music throughout, just the right vibe for a relaxed afternoon party. I should have pressed him to take more of a break, because I think he just kept on playing, beyond the timings we booked him for. Overall, he was really excellent & made a huge difference to our event, with lots of the guests commenting on how much they liked him.
We had the pleasure of having Jack play at our small wedding drinks reception and he was absolutely amazing. I had seen his videos before so had confidence he was good but my goodness he was amazing on the day and I'm so pleased he was there. The way he played to the crowd, had such a variety of music (I mean wow, what a talent) and generally just had a great time with guests. The communication before the day was fantastic and I appreciate him answering all of my questions. All of the guests have reached out to me to tell me how brilliant he was. His voice is incredible and his whole vibe was just wonderful. Thank you Jack! We will need to find another excuse to book you again!

We were very impressed with Jack Abbey's professionalism. He has a lovely voice, plays the guitar very well and he didn't turn the volume up so loud that our guests couldn't hear each other talking - just perfect. Jack sang songs which we requested when we originally booked him - which were Country & Western / 50's /60's & 70's songs. They went down a treat with everyone being of our era. We had lots of people saying how good he was and how they enjoyed listening to him.

Great communication. Arrived at agreed time to set up. Polite and courteous. His solo guitar/vocalist set was awesome and varied. We requested for music through the decades and he did not disappoint. All guests gave positive feedback. He even learned our wedding song especially. Would highly recommend this professional excellent musician.
We hired Jack to play at our private event, we specifically asked for 60’s and 70’s and he didn’t disappoint, he played all the songs that the group love. Strongly recommend and will be hiring again for our next event.

Outstanding! Jack listened to the music genre I liked and I actually chose 3 songs not on his playlist and what an amazing job he did, I walked down the aisle to him singing he then entertained guests and they loved him, Jack interacted with them and let them join in with him! Jack played at my husband's 50th birthday party. It was a small gathering in the garden at home and the music was perfect, such a lovely voice and Jack played such a great range of songs to suit the kids and the adults of all ages. It was a super fun night, I wasn't sure if having a musician was too much for a party at home but it worked perfectly. Jack was so professional and in advance was great at planning the evening with me. I would highly recommend for any party large or small.

We hired Jack as some chilled guitar playing either side of our ceremony and just before our wedding Breakfast, he played every song we asked for and learned some new ones for us. He was professional and was the correct vibe for the times in which we booked him for.
I saw Jack play in a pub in Wantage, he put on a fantastic night, and go everyone up and dancing until time at the bar. He was professional but also fun, he took requests and played something for everyone.
Jack was amazing! He sang throughout our wedding day. It was amazing to walk down the aisle to Jack singing. Your patience and generosity to learn songs for us blew us away. Jack really got the party started and had a lot of patience when other guests got up to sing with him. This all made for the most amazing atmosphere. Recently I heard Jack play acoustic guitar on Carnival’s Legend ship. A musician myself, I thoroughly enjoyed his genuineness and natural talent! What a delightful young man. We chatted a few times throughout the week and he was so kind to play some James Taylor favorites for me. Made me so happy! I am sure we will be hearing that name again. Jack, thank you again for sharing your talents and taking the time to connect with me and many others on the ship. You go above and beyond and I know you will do well!
The acoustic entertainment by Jack was wonderful. He was so kind & remembered my name after telling him once. A very talented musician. He played a wonderful variety of covers & his take on them was excellent. He played my requests and was very accommodating to anyone with whom he spoke. He was my absolute favorite of the entertainers on the ship. I could really feel the music he performed... Fantastic, genuine performer.
I loved Jack's folk sound, he did requests ad even learned new requests for a later day on the cruise. He was a pleasure to listen to.

Jack was absolutely fantastic. His communication was excellent from the start. He kept in contact with me discussing my needs and learning new songs I asked for. When he came to the party he was so friendly and professional. His voice and guitar skills are superb we loved every song and he completely made our evening. He played for over an hour longer than agreed and I could see that was due to his love of music and performing he was in his element. I hired Jack for my partners 50th birthday in a country pub local to us. I contacted Jack and he kept great communication through out. He also learned some songs which we wanted to be played on the night, which was great. Jack was brilliant on the night. He is very talented and created a great atmosphere. All of our friends and family were so impressed. We also all had a sing along with him at the end of the night which was amazing. Jack was perfect and really made the night. Saw Jack compere an open mic night over the weekend in his local town. He was superb at getting the crowd up, bringing on other Artists, making them feel confident, and not to mention his own playing which was brilliant! Highly Recommend! Superb performer!

My Favourite was solo guitar with Jack, I love music, i could really not go a day without it. My favourite genre singer/songwriter and classic rock. However this genre is typically left out "entertainment" on cruise ship schedules. So it was a joy to enter the Ocean Plaza and hear Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Jeff Buckley, and the Beatles coming out of this Englishman
We've seen Jack perform many times while cruising with Carnival and always looked forward to listening to him sing and play guitar. Jack has a nice repertoire and has absolutely nailed the 60's. We would say his Beatles sets are excellent and the best we've heard anyone perform live. Don't miss this genuine performer....would love to see him again...
