Javajam: Jazz duo to 5 piece band A fabulous band playing an eclectic mix of Jazz, latin and vintage pop.

Javajam are a highly versatile and talented band. They are fronted by lead vocalist Sarah-Jane Hassell who had a stellar career in musical theatre appearing in West End performances of Les Miserable, Miss Saigon, Evita, Dr Dolittle, and far too many other shows to mention. She has also performed in venues like Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Dean Street and Leeds Castle and has a wonderful voice with the ability to make any style of vocal sound good. Musical director and pianist Roger Lewin plays regularly in London Hotels including The Savoy, Claridges and The Dorchester an has accompanied singers including Tina May, Trudy Kerr, Anton Browne, Jacqui Hicks, Kai Hoffman and Patti Boulaye. He has played with many bands over the years, including pop outfits Boney M and Hot Chocolate. The band can play as a piano vocal duo, but can expand up to a 5 piece with the addition of bass, drums and saxophone hand picked from the best players in the South East.
