JEZVE is a fresh, characterful, high-energy band that boldly blends traditional Balkan and Eastern European melodies with contemporary urban sounds. Our playground: folk – Balkan – world music – urban folk, all seasoned with our own flavor and a strong, unmistakable presence.
Who are we?
A Polish–Hungarian–Greek collaboration that’s as culturally colorful as our sound. We love exploring and reinventing the folk treasures of our region. Our music is inspired by the heritage of our own countries and the peoples of the Balkans and Eastern Europe — everything that has shaped us and still resonates with us today.
What makes Jezve different?
We don’t just evoke tradition — we have a conversation with it. We choose and reinterpret songs that still have something meaningful to say about today’s world: how we live, what influences us, and how we relate to each other in a modern, urban environment.
And since we’re talking about cities: our folk foundations blend effortlessly with touches of jazz, flirtations with modern dance music, and occasionally something even more adventurous.
