Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

I performed at Rock On Seine, a major festival in Paris, where I played my own acoustic material to a huge crowd, and I got to meet a lot of world famous artists.

What's your favourite type of event?

I love playing at all sorts of events. My favourite being lively bars or functions, were I can have fun with the guests.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I was playing small acoustic gigs whilst I was still in high school, then have been performing around the U.K. and Europe as a solo artist and a session musician. I have well over 4,000 gigs under my belt, of all different varieties.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

The Beatles, I grew up in Liverpool (UK) where I was surrounded by their music from a young age, I often incorporate some of their songs and solo works into my sets, my favourite one to perform being "Hey Jude", as it always gets a crowd singing.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I usually set up an hour before the performance time, or two hours depending on the type of event. I either play 2 x 45 minute or 2 x 60 minute sets, but I'm always willing to negotiate extra sets or to play longer, to cater the gig to the client.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm always happy to perform outside, all I require is a flat surface. I can also supply a battery powered sound system.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs requested by the client for events, but I usually limit this to 5 songs. The client is always welcome to view my repertoire and handpick songs from them too.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients have described my performances as professional, versatile and fun. I have held many residencies during my time and have held a strong 10 year relationship with a client in the hospitality industry.
