John Neudorf Jazz and Blues singer often accompanied by piano, upright bass and drums.

John Neudorf brings a warm, soulful voice and a deep connection to the blues to performances filled with expressive phrasing, inventive scat singing, and rhythmic energy. Often accompanied by piano, upright bass, and drums, sometimes with trumpet or saxophone adding colour, he blends jazz standards, original songs, and fresh interpretations of familiar favourites including music by The Beatles and Ray Charles. His heartfelt delivery and spontaneous improvisation create lively interplay between voice and band.

Based in Ontario’s Niagara Region, John draws on more than three decades of musical experience. Originally trained as a jazz drummer, he brings a strong rhythmic sensibility to his singing, shaped by studies with celebrated jazz vocalist Mark Murphy and performances alongside blues musicians Mel Brown and Matt “Guitar” Murphy. From intimate winery evenings to jazz clubs and festival stages, his performances offer an engaging mix of warmth, musicality, and energy.
