Jonah is a multi-genre musician and he believes in experimenting with different styles like R&B, soul, pop rock, blues, and funk rock which are prominent elements in the songs that he makes.
Jonah is best known as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the band John Mpamei & The Band with whom he has played for major events like Hornbill, Northeast Festival, Delhi and also performs as an in-house musician for some of the best cafes in Delhi. The band released two hit Singles ” Far Away” and “Cry” on VH1, MTV, and 9Xo in 2015 and the rest is history.
Jonah has released 4 singles, which have been featured by Rolling Stone India, and broadcasted on radio stations like Pulse 95Radio Sharjah UAE, 98.3 Big FM Shillong, India, and 92.7 Big FM Aizawl India. Two of his songs were nominated in the category of Best Bop Song in the IMA(Independent Music Award).
