JRQuartet is an ensemble born in the autumn of 2021. The quartet plays contemporary jazz in the ECM style. Combining the typical Slavic rhythms of traditional Polish music with the energy of Mediterranean melodies, the Quartet creates unique atmospheres. "Everlasting Suite" is an original suite composed of three movements that weave a tapestry of distinct motifs, alternating between written parts and improvisations on open structures.
The Jaromir Rusnak Quartet has received numerous prizes, including the Premio del Conservatorio in the IX edition. Comprising prominent professional musicians in the Italian scene, each member boasts a successful career, including awards and many recordings. Our stage experience extends to concerts throughout Europe, giving our ensemble a recognized international reputation.

The band is led by Jaromir Rusnak, a Polish double bassist, bassist, composer, and arranger based in Milan, Italy. Born in Kraków in 1996, he studied at the Academy of Music in Kraków and later graduated from the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi di Milano under Lucio Terzano. Active across the European jazz scene, Rusnak has performed internationally, including appearances connected to the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and major festivals in Poland. Alongside collaborations with artists such as Bass Astral x Igo, Kubaterra, and Kriva Drina, he has consistently developed his own original projects, combining strong melodic writing, improvisation, and a contemporary European jazz language shaped by Central European and Mediterranean influences.
Giuseppe Blanco pianist, he studied at Civici Corsi di Jazz in Milan and Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi di Milano, he won Premio Lelio Luttazzi and is active on the Italian jazz scene as a performer and composer.
Jossy Botte saxophone, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston (cum laude) and in Europe including the Netherlands, he is active internationally as a performer and composer in contemporary jazz projects.
Andrea Lo Palo drummer, he studied in the Italian jazz system and contemporary music environments, he is active as a versatile drummer in jazz and improvised music projects in Italy.
