J#Major (pronounced 'jay-sharp-major') is a six-piece rock band from Windsor, Ontario, built around one simple idea: play the songs people love — especially the ones they did not expect to hear.
Since 2016, J#Major has performed across Southwestern Ontario with a repertoire that moves comfortably through classic rock, pop and crowd favourites from artists including Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, U2, The Tragically Hip and many more.
What separates the band from a standard cover act is the arrangement: layered vocals, keyboards, multiple guitars, extended medleys and mashups, and a willingness to reach deeper into familiar catalogues. The reaction we love hearing most is still: 'Wow — I can't believe you played that song.'

J#Major is a six-piece configuration.
Desired stage area: 24 feet wide x 16 feet deep.
Front of stage faces the audience.
We require power for each member, individual circuits preferred but not required.
We'd need parking for each member, six vehicles.
- J#Major requires a safe, stable, covered and dry performance area for the band, instruments, PA and monitoring equipment.
- Outdoor events must have a weather plan agreed in advance, including a covered stage, protected FOH/PA position, safe power, and a practical relocation or cancellation plan.
- The band may pause, modify or decline a performance when weather, heat, cold, lightning, wind, standing water, unsafe power, crowd conditions, stage conditions or other site conditions create a reasonable safety risk.
- The band's production lead may make the final on-site safety call for the band and equipment. Any pause or change should be communicated with the event contact as soon as practical.
- Reasonable accommodations such as shade, hydration, weather protection, safe access and agreed breaks should be included for outdoor or extreme-condition performances.
Yes, we have a complete sound and lighting system.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We had a blast at a private party in The Beaches (GTA)!! It. was an 80s themed party and the interaction with the fully-engaged crowd was off-the-charts!
Our favourite events are the summer campground series we've been privileged to perform at. The energy of these crowds are unmatched and such great fun.
