Yes, we’re completely self contained. We can bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple battery powered setup for smaller outdoor events.

Yes, we’re happy to play music before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Oh, that’s easy—the best gig I’ve ever done? Yours. Even if it hasn’t happened yet, I’m already counting it as the highlight of my career. The vibe? Immaculate. The crowd? Legendary. The energy? Off the charts. And the venue? Wherever you are—because when the right people come together, even a backyard turns into Madison Square Garden.

We’ve been shaped by the timeless voices of Mahalia Jackson and Ella Fitzgerald, stirred by the elegance of Nat King Cole and the fire of John Coltrane, and inspired by the modern magic of Robert Glasper and Lizz Wright. Each brings a different shade to the canvas.
As for the greatest song of all time? That’s a moving target. Some days it’s “Take Five,” other days it’s “Total Praise,” and sometimes it’s whatever melody reminds us we’re still here, still breathing, still believing. The greatest song is the one that meets you where you are—and leaves you better than it found you.

Performing individually is like a solo espresso—strong, focused, and full of flavor. But performing together? That’s the full café experience: rich harmonies, spontaneous magic, and the kind of energy that turns a good night into an unforgettable one.
We love the chemistry, the camaraderie, and the way each performance becomes a conversation between us and the audience. So while solos have their sparkle, we’ll take the symphony of togetherness any day.

"We arrive about 30 minutes before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Negotiable during the winter months. We love being outside, just not freezing in snow.
