Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I perform as a solo acoustic act and need only a small space, roughly 2m x 2m, with one nearby power socket. For indoor or hotel/restaurant settings my own compact PA is more than enough. For larger venues, access to the house sound system is welcome but not essential.

What information do you require about a venue?

I'd like to know the type of venue (hotel, bar, restaurant, private event), the expected audience size, and whether the performance is indoor or outdoor. Load-in directions and the available power supply are helpful, and please let me know if there is any sound limiter or volume restriction.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, I'm self-contained for smaller venues — I bring my own PA system suitable for acoustic performance. I don't provide stage lighting, so I rely on the venue's existing lighting or ambient setup.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I'm happy to play background music from Spotify before, after and between sets. The client is welcome to choose the playlist, or I can curate something that fits the mood of the event.

What do you need from the venue to perform?

Very little — a small space and access to the venue's in-house sound system, which most hotels, bars and restaurants already have. As a solo acoustic act I'm low-maintenance and adapt quickly to different rooms and setups.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of my favourite performances was at [örn. Back House, a grunge & rock venue] — an intimate room where the crowd was right there with me. Those close, acoustic nights where people actually listen and sing along are the ones I remember most.

What's your favourite type of event?

I love intimate settings, hotel lounges, bars, restaurants and private events where I can read the room and shape the set around the mood. There's something special about acoustic evenings where the music becomes part of the atmosphere rather than just background noise.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I've been performing for around more than 10 years as a singer and guitarist, playing a mix of well-known covers and my own original songs. My background in music runs deep, I also studied music technology academically, and over the years I've performed live regularly, building a repertoire that spans classic rock, pop and acoustic favourites.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

The Who, Chuck Berry and the classic rock songwriters have shaped how I play. I love bringing timeless songs like Behind Blue Eyes and Johnny B. Goode into my sets, songs that connect with almost any audience, anywhere in the world.

Do you perform songs in other languages?

Yes — alongside English-language classics and pop/rock covers, I also perform original material and songs in Turkish. This gives my sets an international flavour, which works especially well for hotels and venues with a diverse, multinational audience.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I usually arrive about 45–60 minutes before the performance to set up and sound check. A typical set is 2 x 45 minutes or 3 x 45 minutes with short breaks, but I'm flexible and happy to adjust the length and timing to suit the venue or event. For hotels and restaurants I can also play longer background sets across an evening.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I'm happy to perform outdoors. I just ask for a flat, dry area, some shade if it's a hot or sunny day, and a power supply near the performance spot. As an acoustic act I adapt easily to most settings.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Both. Clients are welcome to choose songs from my repertoire or let me read the room and curate the set myself. I'm also happy to learn a few specific requests ahead of the event — usually up to 5 songs — such as a couple's favourite song for a wedding or a venue's preferred style.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients usually describe my performances as warm, relaxed and easy to listen to — the kind of acoustic set that suits the mood without overpowering the room. People often mention that the songs feel familiar and that the atmosphere stays comfortable all evening.

Can you play long background sets for hotels and restaurants?

Absolutely. I have regularly performed multi-hour acoustic sets — for a long period I played three nights a week, around three hours per night. I'm very comfortable holding a relaxed, consistent atmosphere across a full evening rather than just a short slot.
