Ladies of Jazz & Swing is a theatrical and musical project created and written by Dagmar Segbers.
It pays homage to the legendary women who shaped the history of jazz and swing, blending music, narration, and performance into a captivating journey. Through timeless songs, original arrangements, and storytelling, the project explores not only the elegance and glamour of an era, but also the strength, struggles, and passion of the female voices who gave life to this music.

Piano (acoustic preferred; if electric, an 88-key weighted keyboard)
1 vocal microphone
Video projector and cinema screen
Stage monitors on two separate lines
PA system suitable for the venue
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Throughout the show, video and photo projections enrich the storytelling, creating a vivid atmosphere that connects past and present, immersing the audience in the world of these extraordinary women.
