Leo Kitainik Experienced drummer looking for function work

I am 25 years old and have been playing instruments for almost all of my life. I’m looking for function work mainly but I am available for session work. I am also a multi instrumentalist with a good knowledge of harmonic theory but specialise in rhythm having studied music formally at college. I'm not a singer, but can definitely sing harmonies and backing parts.

I am no stranger to performing live, as for the last 3 years I have been part of a metal band that toured and played several one-off shows. Prior to that I have performed in various function/cover bands at weddings, parties and festivals. I also have a strong background in studio work.

I like to think that I have a broad taste in music, having been part of a number projects that span from folk-pop to progressive metal. Growing up the first drummer/band who really caught my attention was The Police and Stewart Copeland. During my teens, I was listening to a lot of pop and indie music, and while studying music at college I was shown the world of metal and progressive rock/metal.
Thomas Haake and Matt Halpern are huge influences for me, but also drummers like Steve Jordan, Jeff Pecaro and Steve Gadd.
