I usually provide my own sound, but if you have a sound technician, I would need 2 XLR inputs or one mic input and a guitar input, plus an input for my in-ears monitors.
I would require a clean, dry grounded stage or area, within 20 feet of an electrical source.

I need to know the size and type of room, the number of people attending and what type of performance they need from me, ie. Showcase or background music.
Whether or not they will include a meal and a couple of adult beverages in addition to the payment.

I provide sound equipment large enough to fill a large Event Hall or medium sized outdoor venue.

The best stages I've ever performed on were for Festivals, such as LA Jolla Art & Wine Festival, Deer Valley Amphitheater, Ogden Amphitheatre and Theaters such as Twee Hondges in Hellevetsluis, Holland, NL, which is probably the most notable and favorite of my opportunities. I also performed the National Anthem on National Television for Nascar and have been on the morning news multiple times in San Diego, CA and Salt Lake City, Utah.

I enjoy events of all types, but especially when I can put on an intimate performance, sharing my original music.
On the other hand, I absolutely love taking impromptu requests and if I know enough of the song you're asking for, I will give it a go on the spot!

My experience ranges from Weddings and Parties, Corporate events and fine dining, to Resorts, Festivals, Live Music Venues and Bars. My first professional gig was at Kirin Sushi in San Diego and my last performance was taking requests at Prime Steakhouse in Park City, Utah.

The greatest song of all time is Purple Rain by Prince and I love artists across multiple genres, but I grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac, Prince and The Judds among many other classic hits.

I like to arrive an hour prior to the performance to set up and sound check with plenty of time to troubleshoot if necessary before the show.
If the performance is longer than 2 hours, I prefer to have 15 minute breaks in between 45 min. sets.
It takes me about 15 - 30 minutes to break down.
My typical performance time is anywhere between 2 to 3 hours and I prefer to keep it under 4.

I'm happy to play outside with protection from the elements, including heat and sun exposure, so I just ask for shade, a dry, grounded performance area and a power supply within extension reach.

I can learn specific songs beforehand or take requests on the spot, but it is nice to arrive knowing what type of music or genre the client is expecting. If they are open, I play a wide variety of classic covers, top 40 hits and include some of my originals in the mix.

I am grateful to have had happy clients and so I get a lot of people telling me how grateful they are that they had so many compliments from their guests about the live music.

There isn't a specific genre that encapsulates my original songs, so I created my own. My songs are Pop/Country and Folk influenced by Soul, Classic Rock and Blues.
