From heartbreaking mexican songs to groovy cumbia tunes, we perform and share with you compositions that touch us deeply.
Our focus is on jazz latin music, though we like to explore new musical traditions and surprise our audience with unexpected interpretations from elsewhere.
The breathtaking voice of singer and trumpetist Bara combined with staggering guitar solos and enchanting bass grooves will bring a spectacular though soothing atmosphere to your event.

We are happy to play some music from Spotify or similar before and after our set, and happy to choose the music ourselves.
The four of us are dedicated full time musicians.
An international music collective, Mantequilla Tropical was originally born in La Palma (SP).
Our paths crossed and uncrossed in different music or life projects, until the summer of 2023, where the band kicked a new start in Switzerland.
We usually arrive two hours before the concert to set up and do the sound check.
We usually play 2 sets of 45/60 minutes with a break in the middle.
We love to perform outside!
