We require a performance space of approximately 4 meters x 3 meters to comfortably accommodate our musicians and instruments. We do not need power sockets for acoustic-only performances, but for amplified gigs we ask for 1 standard 220V power outlet nearby. Easy access for loading/unloading and one parking space is appreciated.

We ask for clear directions or access notes to locate the venue and the most efficient loading point.

Yes. For small to mid-sized events, we can bring our own portable PA system for voice and instruments. Lighting is not usually required for our type of performances, but we can add basic ambient lighting upon request.

We can perform fully acoustic, without the need for microphones or amplification – perfect for small and intimate events. However, we also offer the option of a fully amplified setup, including microphones for vocals and amplification for all instruments, ideal for larger venues or outdoor stages. We adapt to the needs of each event and can provide our own equipment if necessary

One of the most exciting gigs we’ve ever done was being invited by Emirates airline to perform live at Barcelona airport for the inauguration of their direct flight from Barcelona to Mexico City. It was an honour to represent Mexican culture at such an important international event, and the reaction from the passengers and crew was unforgettable.

We really enjoy performing at all kinds of events, but weddings are definitely our favourite. There is something truly special about bringing live mariachi music to such an emotional and joyful moment in people’s lives.

Mariachi Tequila was founded in 2002 in Barcelona. Since then, we have performed at hundreds of events across Spain and Europe – including festivals, private parties, cultural events and corporate functions. We began with small local performances and gradually grew thanks to word of mouth and our dedication to authentic Mexican music.

We are influenced by traditional mariachi artists such as Vicente Fernández, Pedro Infante, and José Alfredo Jiménez. Vicente Fernández, in particular, has been a great inspiration for us. As for the greatest song of all time, 'El Rey' is a true anthem that always connects with the public, no matter the occasion.

We usually perform sets of 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the client's request. We’re very flexible with timing and can adapt to the flow of the event. For private parties or weddings, we often do one or two blocks of music, depending on the type of celebration.

Yes, we are happy to perform outdoors. We only ask for basic conditions such as shade (especially in summer), a flat surface and protection from rain if needed. We can adapt to many types of outdoor settings as long as the instruments and musicians are safe.

Yes, clients are welcome to request songs. We have a wide repertoire of traditional and popular Mexican music, and we can adapt the set list to suit the event. We are also open to learning one or two special songs in advance if requested.
