Had the privilege of having both Matthew and his wife join us at our wedding. Matthew played at our wedding ceremony and also at our reception! Made the night such a special and unforgettable night.

But don't just take my word for it... ask him yourself! Matthew also was incredibly helpful in working with our budget and was very accommodating, to arrange practice times, in and amongst a busy season of his life.

Absolutely Brilliant brilliant brilliant! I hired Matthew for my wedding at Metropolis in May 2025 and it was the best decision I’d ever made. He is undoubtedly one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever heard. Not only that, the process of organising what kind of music and the details of my specifications on the night were far exceeded. Matthew always replied to my emails promptly, always accommodated my requests and went above and beyond what I expected at my wedding reception. My guests still rave about how great he was till today!

My (now) husband and I hired Matthew to play at our wedding after meeting him at a wedding expo earlier this year. We’re so glad that we hired him! We were immediately drawn to his talent and diverse music repertoire. Matthew was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. He played beautifully during our ceremony which added such a special touch to the day. While we didn’t get to hear as much of his performance as we would have liked during the cocktail hour, all our guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing he was! Having live music was a wonderful addition to our wedding and Matthew truly delivered!

My wife and I first came across Matthew on instagram.
Having recently fell I love with the Bridgeton series, having a violin player at the our ceremony was crucial.
What instantly got me was his smooth style and effortlessness.

We had asked for some extra songs for him to play at cost which consisted of a lot of 90s RNB love songs.

He rolled up and grabbed the space with both hands and really set the scene for a beautiful, emotional wedding.

All our friends and family, who we didn’t tell we were having a violin player were in awe. And the waves of compliments came in.

In hindsight I’m so glad I reached out.
I really considered just having music at the ceremony, but his gift along with some of our favorite music was the cherry ontop.

If I had my ceremony again, Matthew would be the first one down.
