Mary & The Quants is a Milan based band inspired by the great Italian and international Rock and Pop music of the past.
The group's name is a tongue in cheek tribute to Mary Quant, inventor of the miniskirt, and its musical offerings are equally iconic and aimed at an audience that enjoys dancing to the sounds and rhythms of those years.
The band features an attractive and talented female lead vocalist, four seasoned musicians, a sharp, vintage look and instruments that hark back to the golden age of Rock and Pop.
Put together, it all adds up to a performance that is both entertaining and spot on, particularly for live events and weddings.
With a repertoire that includes classic Rock and Roll, Twist, Surf, Beat, Pop, Psychedelia, R&B and vintage Soul, Mary & The Quants is simply one of the best live acts you're likely to see!

We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 4 parking spaces.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
A few years ago, we were invited by the organizers of the Bellinzona Beatles Days to play the repertoire of the Rolling Stones in a beautiful, crowded square. It was a magnificent experience that forced us to push beyond our usual musical horizons.
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.
We started gigging ten years ago and our performances developed from there. Since we started we’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across Italy and beyond.
The Beatles: their iconic pop music have always been a crowd favourite, and we love incorporating hits like Hey Jude into our sets.
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 2 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
