In December 2006, Mike made his debut at one of South Africa's premier dance music institutions, ESP, shortly after completing his Sound Engineering course. Starting with smaller, more intimate events under ESP's sister brand, Mike quickly made his mark, ultimately securing a residency at Johannesburg's Submission Night Club in early 2008. This period became a turning point in his career, as he played alongside some of the nation's top DJs, including a memorable Back2Back set with Irish artist Nigel H.
By 2009, Mike expanded his expertise into event promotion and organization, launching his signature event, "Submission Night." His versatility shone through as he mastered various house music genres electro, tech, and progressive-performing at numerous venues, events, and private parties across Johannesburg. In 2010, he further solidified his presence in the scene with a weekly guest residency at Risqué.
In early 2011, Mike ventured into trance music, rapidly honing his skills and enhancing his versatility. His evolution in this genre led him to host the Pre-boarding Party at Tranceport 2011, launch INC3PTION in early 2012, and soon after, he was invited to play a guest slot at the iconic Truth Trance Room.
Beyond his club career, Mike served as an associate producer for MixFM's Saturday radio show, "Sunset Dance," hosted by Al Gray. He also co-founded Electric Cabal, a project born in 2019 after a personal hiatus from the music industry beginning in 2013. Since his return, Mike has been honored to perform at two BPM events and holds a residency with the growing Rhythm Rebellion events and brand.
Mike's experience and passion have established him as a key figure in the evolution of South Africa's house music scene, and there's no doubt that the best is yet to come.

Yes, I have neccessary sound, lighting, table, extender cables for power. I tailor make a solution as per your request, needs and wants. If any additional equipment is required, rental solution is made and manages by myself with relevant rental partners.
Yes, I am able to provide pre-recorded sets of music of any sort as well as provision for Song Requests lists before event to ensure potential requests are available.
Performed at many big events, biggest being JHB Experience, Slippery and Wet at ESP nightclub and Stones franchise. I am well versed in all sized events, preferring the smaller intermit ones.
All sorts, every type of events has its pro's and con's, however, I believe every event is a party, a celebration... and I would love to and be very happy to provide your music.
20 years plus in the industry, started setting up big rig sound systems for festivals as well as I am a Sound Engineer and played a food part of the dance scene in South Africa to date.
Depending on event location, I prefer to arrive as early as possible, usually 3-4 hours before event start time. I require no breaks as I ensure I have relevant material on hand to fill any time I may require away from my system.
Yes, provided there is ample and reliabke covering from weather. In event of wet weather, emergency plans will be defined with clients to ensure continuity of performance.
Discussed and agreed upon with client before hand but I do not mind song requests and predefined playlists.
