Deejay Mneddy Dubai Afrobeats & Amapiano DJ | Open Format | Clubs, Weddings, Private Events

Mains power with two sockets near the DJ position, a stable table or DJ booth about 1.5 m wide at standing height, and a booth monitor speaker. The room also needs a sound system suited to its size and guest numbers: tell me what your venue has and I will confirm what is needed before quoting. Shade for daytime outdoor sets.

The venue name and area, whether it is indoors or outdoors, expected guest numbers, start and finish times, load-in access (a service lift if the venue is above ground floor), what sound system and DJ equipment the venue already has, and any sound limits or cut-off times.

My quote covers the DJ performance. Equipment requirements and the venue's sound and lighting arrangements are confirmed before I quote. If your venue has no sound system, tell me when you enquire and we can discuss arranging one separately.

Yes. I can play background music before, between and after the main set, so there is no silence during arrivals, dinner or speeches.

Sole DXB in Dubai, where I played ahead of Tems to a big festival crowd, is the one I remember most. For venues, my past residency at Kiza Dubai shaped me as a DJ.

Club nights, concerts and festivals, private parties, weddings and corporate events.

I started DJing in Mombasa, Kenya, in 2007 and have played professionally since 2012. I built my Dubai career through club nights and a past residency at Kiza Dubai, and now play clubs, private events, weddings, corporate events and festivals across the UAE.

I love Davido but love Tems more.

I am an Afrobeats and Amapiano DJ who plays open format. Around that core I play Afro House, hip-hop and R&B from all eras, reggae, dancehall and soca, shaped to the crowd in the room.

For private parties I arrive about an hour before guests to set up and soundcheck. For clubs, concerts and festivals, the soundcheck slot is agreed in advance with the venue or production team.

Yes, as long as the DJ position is shaded and protected from the weather.

Yes. Send me your must-plays and do-not-plays before the event and I will build them into the set. On the night I take guest requests where they fit the moment.
