Moldies An oldies revue playing Stax, Motown, and more!

We typically bring a 7- 9 piece band, (includes 2 - 4 piece horn section).

We can easily provide a stage plot upon request.

Guitar: 1, bass, 1, drums, keyboard 1 (doubles on trumpet), saxophone 2, trombone 1, 3 female vocals.
Adequate stage preferred, but we can be creative set up-wise.

1) Does the venue provide sound and light production and techs?
2) Load in area/time, sound check time, doors.
3) Does venue allow all ages shows or only 21+?
4) Green room provided?
5) Payment by cash, check?

We can provide our own basic PA and lights if venue does not provide.

We can also provide music to be played before and between sets if needed.

Moldies originally started in 2010 from a group of friends, significant others, and coworkers who had an idea of playing at a one-off Motown tribute show. Everyone liked the music so much, we kept getting asked to play an eclectic range of venues and events. The band eventually parted ways due to life circumstances, but reunited in 2025 with a different lineup and an expanded horn section. We are all lifelong musicians who have played with a variety of musical groups and styles.

Girl groups like the Supremes, dynamic dudes like Wilson Pickett, and lesser known "Moldies" like the Sonics.

We typically arrive 2-3 hours before the performance. Unless otherwise instructed by venue amd/or stage production crew. Especially if we are providing our own production.

We can play either 3, 45 minute sets with 2 breaks. Or two 1 hour + sets with a short intermission.
Flexible in this area.

Yes outside events are fine.
Flat surface and shade, tent or covering preferred.
Plus adequate power supply essential for proper and professional aet up.

We typically have a standard song/set list. We are always open for some specific song requests if adequate time to learn them prior. But always open for that "on the fly" request.
